I had completely given up on this show by the time I saw the 3rd episode. The whole episode was filled with the good and evil sister-in-law drama. Saira could not stand Adil giving so much attention to Rudaba, and she created a huge drama to get attention. She thought that Rudaba had complained to Adil about her attitude when the poor girl had done no such thing.

After that, Saira openly showed her dislike for Rudaba and made her feel like a stranger in the house. But not in front ofAdil of course, in his presence she was at the best of her behavior. The way she taunted Rudaba about Buland in front of her sister and brother was simply pathetic. This track was dragged to the limit and by the end of it; I had completely lost interest in the show.

Tayabba and her desperation for marriage is getting on my nerves by each passing episode. How desperate can a person get? It is not the end of the world if your engagement breaks. She kept on whining about how unfair life is and kept on blaming her brother’s illegal work and bad reputation for her broken engagement. This track is seriously getting very repetitive. The crying and whining continued in the 4th episode too, and it was simply frustrating to watch Tayabba’s scenes.

However, the fourth episode managed to capture my interest, and now I have some hope for the show. Why was the episode worth watching? The answer is simple: Faysal Qureshi. I was disappointed with his loud and rash character; all the pointless screaming simply made my ears rings. But I had forgotten how well Faysal can emote through his eyes, and that romance and Faysal Qureshi are a perfect combination.

We saw the start of the attraction phase between Bashar and Rudaba. Rudaba is scared out of her wits when she is near Bashar, but she still manages to challenge him even though she never means to. He was amused by the ‘monster’comment, and simply shocked by the detailed and honest comment about his behavior and character. The best part about his eyes is that they can emote both anger and softness. We saw the soft look when he was admiring her and the angry look when he was furious with her.

Rudaba was staying at Bashar’s house because Adil and Saira had to go abroad for some urgent business work. Bashar never gave a second glance or thought to Rudaba, and treated her rudely (that’s normal behavior for Bashar). For him, she was no more than Parizey’s care taker, but with each encounter, his opinion about her changed. She disobeyed him and took Parizey in the rain. That was the first time anybody disobeyed him so openly and calling him furious would be an understatement. He unleashed his wrath on Rudaba and the poor girl simply fainted. Yes, FAINTED! I was surprised and a bit amused by her fainting spell.

The look on Bashar’s face when Rudaba fainted was priceless! It was obvious that he felt guilty for his behavior (a first for someone like Bashar), and he had never expected her to faint all of a sudden. For the first time, we saw Bashar  acting in a normal way as he gently tried to wake Rudaba. It was funny to see Bashar speak so softly and act in such a gentle way! Their next encounter in Tayabba’s bedroom was also pretty amusing. Faysal’s eyes did all the work in this scene.

Bashar has not realized that he is attracted to Rudaba, but he will soon. Judging from the preview for the next episode, he would be speechless after he sees Rudaba all dressed up and this would make him think about her.

Another highlight of the latest episode is that Buland is officially back. Buland and Rudaba’s  first encounter was pretty filmy, there was no electricity plus there was rain. Rudaba was standing outside the house with candles in her hand and Buland was under the umbrella. The expressions of both the actors were perfect. But then if someone asks me who is a better romantic hero; Faysal Qureshi or Sami Khan, then my answer would be Faysal. Ushnah Shah has good chemistry with Faysal, now let’s see how her chemistry with Sami turns to be!

I would recommend you to watch this episode, its better than the previous ones!

Another episode has passed and most of us are still trying to find out what the hype was all about. True, the budget and production values are impressive, but at the end of the day what matters is the content shown. I would rate the first two episodes as average; they concentrated more on character development in the first episode and paid less attention to the story, and now in the second episode they tried to create more drama and suspense.

Did they succeed? Well, not really! The whole drama created around Salman and Tayabba’s broken engagement was dragged to the limit. Mostly, they were trying to give more insight into Bashar Momin’s character through this forced drama. After watching the drama, we know a few things about Bashar. First of all, he adores his sisters and can go to any extent for their happiness. Second, he thinks money is above everything, it can buy anything (even a groom for his sister). Third, what happens to those who say no to him. We were all a bit shocked to see Bashar Momin acting so loud in the first episode, we expected him to be the sophisticated and charming businessman. The writer has experimented with his character, and we see a rich billionaire who acts more like a typical gunda. He is like volcanic lava ready to erupt any second; loud, rash and completely manner less.

I expected Ushnah Shah to be the weakest link in this show, but she is definitely proving me wrong. She is able to portray the innocence needed for this character with perfection. At times, I cannot believe she is the same girl playing a negative role in another show on the same channel. Her heart wrenching cries and her breakdown was brilliantly enacted by her. I enjoyed all her scenes in this episode.

I have only one word for Saira’s (Maheen Rizvi) acting: cringe worthy. Her fake accent and overacting were difficult to watch. I wish someone had told her to tone it down a bit. It was obvious that she did not like the attention Adil was giving to Rudaba after their father died. Adil has taken complete responsibility of Rudaba, and Saira had no option but to accept her presence in their lives and their house. She definitely did not like the idea of Rudaba shifting with them and Adil giving her the special treatment. Her attempt to gain Adil’s attention by pretending to be sick was just pathetic!

Adil is completely oblivious to Saira’s feelings, maybe because she is good at pretending. It is in her nature to show people what they want to see and not what she is really feeling. Well, at least Adil is not heart less and cares about his sister. Frankly, I did not expect him to play the role of the doting brother.

Tayyaba’s desperation to get married was simply getting on my nerves. Bashar got angry seeing her upset and the next thing we know, he is trying to buy Salman for his sister. He tried his best to bribe Salman with materialistic things, but to no avail. Now Salman and his family would face the wrath of Bashar Momin; he will show them what happens to those people who refuse him for anything.

Rudaba and Bashar’s first meeting was quite different from what I had expected. The huge contrast in their characters was so obvious. It was definitely a treat to watch the quiet and polite Rudaba meet the rash, loud and ill-mannered Bashar. The poor girl was scared out of her wits when she overheard his phone call and a bit hurt when he made her feel like an uninvited guest.

The only main character that has not been introduced so far is of Buland. There is an air of mystery around his character. I had expected him to come to his father’s burial, but I guess he would not make an entry for another one or two episode. We all know that he would not turn out to be the kind of guy Rudaba expects him to be. Now let’s see when Sami Khan would make his entry in the show.

The episode was not an amazing one, but I guess we need a few more episodes to give a verdict about the show. The problem is that the show is so overhyped and our expectation level so high that an average episode would not satisfy us. We want something extra ordinary in each episode.

A special mention for the dialogues of this show; there were a few good ones in this episode. Dialogues like ‘Bika To Khareed Ke Na Bika to Loot Ke’ and ‘Yeh Doosra Sifr Hai Jis Ne Apki Behn Ko Reject Ker diya’ were a few impactful dialogues!

A month or two back I posted an article on this show. It had intrigued me, but I was not excited to watch it because of its cast. Most of them are new unrecognized faces and the only person who I liked in the cast was Faysal Qureshi. There was a lot of curiosity created when Faysal Qureshi started sporting the army haircut and full beard look, but the details of the show were kept tightly under wraps till the final product was made.

I must admit the extravagance of this show has impressed me. Faysal Qureshi is seen adoring suits ranging from 1.5 to 5 lakhs and the leading ladies had sported jewelry of worth 7 crores, and trust me, these are just a few minor details. It is called the most expensive drama yet because of its extremely high budget.

Now coming to the first episode, it was not extraordinary because the story is just building up, but it was definitely a good start. We need a few more episodes to give a verdict about this show. At the end of the day, it is not the hype or the budget that matters; it is the content that attracts the viewers. The promos attracted me, but then from experience I can say that promos can be very deceiving.

The episode started with Rudaba’s (Ushnah Shah) engagement to Buland (Sami Khan). Rudaba was not too happy about the engagement because it was completely arranged, and she had never even met her fiancé. He lived in America and she thought that he might turn out to be like most typical Americans. In Rudaba’s words, he might turn out to be a ‘burger’ which was a trait she loathed in any man. She wanted a simple life partner and feared that he would feel that she was not good enough for him.

Rudaba’s character is an open book for all to read. She is simple, innocent, and naive and had lived in a protected environment all her life. She is unaware of the realities of the world and true faces of people around her. She is close to her father who is her friend and her mentor. I enjoyed all the scenes between the two, he tried his best to convince her that Buland was the right person for her and she needed to trust him. Her bonding with her father’s friend and her future father-in-law was also a treat to watch.

Rudaba’s brother, Adil (Yasir Mazher) is married to Saira (Maheen Rizvi), one of the two beloved sisters of Bashar Momin (Faysal Qureshi). Adil works under Bashar Momin who is involved in quite a few illegal activities and this has created a rift between Adil and his father who had loved the life of a sincere bureaucrat. Saira is a complete control freak, she definitely knows how to manipulate people and play with their minds. It was obvious from the way she manipulated Rudaba that she excels in her abilities. She has the ability to make people feel inferior and she always has a mask on her face; she never shows her true emotions. Her life can be in a complete turmoil, but she would always portray to the world that her life is perfect. Her sister Tayabba (Sundus Tariq) is just the opposite. She seems unsure of her herself, and is quite insecure and emotional.

Bashar Momin is the villain and the hero of this show. We did not get much insight into his character, but I could make out a few things about his character. He has an aura that makes people bow down in front of him. He is too powerful to be challenged and hell breaks loose when he loses his temper. He has simply no control over his temper, and there is no such thing as patience inside him either. He believes in getting what he wants by hook or by crook.

Sami Khan’s character is yet to be introduced, but I can make out from the promos that he is playing the role of a broken hearted lover. Nothing new in this, he plays similar roles in every show!

There was more of an introductory episode and a lot of insight was given into different characters. Rudaba might be unhappy about her engagement, but she would do anything for her father. She promised him before he died that she will marry Buland at all cost and she will be more open minded about her relation with him now. It was quite unexpected to see the end of two important people in Rudaba’s life. This is definitely a turning point in her life.

I am really looking forward to know what happens next!

Ohkay, so fair enough. Let me just say this drama had a fairly decent ending which I wasn’t expecting at all. I will definitely praise the bits that deserve to be praised. I think the developments that they showed in these last 3 episodes were what we all were looking for. I’d once again say that this drama had a lot of potential but may be the unnecessary stretching till 30+ episodes did the trick in losing the plot & pace of the drama. I think ever since the drama began, if they had revolved the plot around Bashar Momin, his character, his background, his feelings & his story, this drama definitely would’ve garnered a lot more fans. I think I’d definitely blame the writer & the director for losing the track & drifting the focus from important aspects to the meaningless ones by giving a lot more coverage to & wasting so many episodes on the supporting characters than needed.

Like we all discussed, Bashar was too softy of a don. I think in one of my reviews I did predict that Rudaba will change him, which was obvious as he was like a lost soul that needed some love, attention & guidance but the way they reached to this point wasn’t convincing at all. I really wish they hadn’t stooped so low to unleash such dark & diabolic side of Bashar because now when he rebounded from it, I had a hard time feeling for him as much as I wanted to. Obviously, Bashar fell weak & all the negativity really burdened him, which he couldn’t cope up with, that’s why he decided he didn’t want all this in his life. Saira & Tayyaba always resonated the negativity to keep him going but now when Rudaba was exposed to all this, Bashar found out that she is a different being who couldn’t bear all that & this is what made him regret doing everything that he ever did to her, in a fit of hatred & anguish. I know it would sound surprising but I kind of enjoyed the scenes between Bashar & Rudaba, I think this is how a love story should be like, less yelling & more talking. Bashar really wanted to make up for the things Rudaba had to face because of him & it was good to see him being repentant repeatedly.

I think the sudden intervention of media & police wasn’t convincing once again. Obviously, they had to show that Bashar being a don was always at a risk of losing his freedom & life but I think we were never given any grounds to know what Bashar did & what level of crimes he was involved in, that’s why it never really made any sense. I so wish they had focused more on his professional life rather than the personal lives, that too of his family, so that we could’ve found the recent turn of events a tad bit interesting.

To see Buland again yearning for Rudaba wasn’t appeasing at all. I mean how much of a self-respect-less can a man be? Did he really think that Rudaba would still be so in love with him to leave Bashar for such a spineless man like him? I think the director & we all could’ve done without him because he was useless even now just like he was useless ever since the drama began.

I think Saira got the shut up call rightly so & just when she needed some. Bashar said it loud & clear that nothing can part him & Rudaba, which was fine because the things later Adil said to her made sense as well. She has been a very self-absorbed & rigid person who never gave importance to anyone, but I think it was about time that she learnt a few lessons of life too.

So, everyone found a closure. Rudaba earned Bashar’s love. Saira learned how to mind her own business. Bashar decided to start afresh & Buland finally let go of his one-sided love for Rudaba. The ending was fair I believe but I’d still say that this drama had a lot of potential if only it was tackled properly. I so wish they hadn’t gone for such an OTT approach in executing this drama. I am sure if they had focused more on the quality of script & acting & hadn’t spent time in meaningless angles & larger-than-life appearance of everything, they might’ve given out a fairly decent play with a bit of acceptable filmy touch to it. I also feel that they should’ve invested more time on the central character & should’ve given him the required coverage to let us know why the drama was named Bashar Momin, some story starting from his childhood to his struggling days & some showcasing of how he got to such a point that made him such a ruthless yet successful don, I believe would’ve sufficed. I think if they had wrapped the drama within 20-22 episodes, it would’ve been a lot more interesting because in between, the drama & its story definitely lost the track as Adil, Saira, Tayyaba & Buland dominated the whole story while Bashar only seemed to be that person who was tending to their issues like a head of the family without having a life of his own. I so wish they had equalized the coverage of the supporting & the main characters to make a balanced & engaging drama. I must say the only person who did justice to his character in terms of acting was Faysal Qureshi & I think he certainly deserves to be credited for this. Share your say please.

Ohkay so, these two episodes gave a new face to the story. Till now it looked like Bashar will make sure Rudaba runs back to him but the new twist was all about Buland & Rudaba. I am not sure but to see a married-triangle for the first time on screen was kind of awkward because till now we’ve seen engaged people running into odd triangles but to see a legally married & a potential father being involved in a triangular flick wasn’t appeasing at all.

To be very honest, I think it’s about time they should start wrapping up the story because adding new twists & turns isn’t really making any sense. Just when a calamity was inflicted on Adil, not only he got his lawn-mowed hair back but also regained some senses to realize that Rudaba’s the one who has suffered & lost the most.

Buland came on a business trip but seems like he went on a trip of his own where he forgot that he was at the verge of becoming a father but just because he likes being a puppet (which he admitted himself, so don’t blame me for calling him a puppet), he decided he has some other move to groove on. I must say the most hated husband was Awazaar of Aahista Aahista, but the most confused personality ever seen in the history of Pakistani drama industry is that of Buland. Just now when he has already had a shaadi ka laddu & the barfi’s about to be born, he’s now eyeing up his ex-fiancée who happens to be his wife’s brother’s wife as well, so cool na? *coughing sarcasm*

Buland & Adil are so blinded by rage against Bashar Momin that even though they know they’re just like mere chickens in front of him, they’ve taken the gloves off for the sake of ruining Bashar Momin the ultimate, haha, nope nope, the gharelu don. I think Bashar should understand that he’s blessed with two unfortunate souls that’ll keep on hovering around his head & they are Saira & Tayyaba, so it’s better that either he gets rid of them or baby sit them all his life because such petty issues related to his sisters are putting us to sleep.

I think that was a good scene where everyone encountered Buland & Rudaba’s cuckooing because this will definitely hurt Bashar’s ego & I think after this, he will make sure that Rudaba doesn’t leave him because he knows that this will not only result in Tayyaba’s home wreckage as well as he’d have to baby sit two babies with their mommies for the rest of his life for sure.

I really wanted to see a story of a don but to see it turn into a gharelu khichri is very disappointing. I really don’t see any point in spending so much money on such a script or may be that was a coaxed hoax for the sake of ratings & oh is it just me or the direction of these two episodes seemed completely different as if some other director took over to complete the project? I am not sure but seems like the team actually lost interest because the actors look lethargic, the energy saver seems to be getting dimmer & the execution’s getting poor & poorer. To be honest, I am sure by this time everyone’s only interested to know how the drama ends without actually rooting for Rudaba-Bashar or Rudaba-Buland’s jori. Ohkay so, surprisingly the recent twists & turns in the drama were unpredictable. I don’t know why but I kind of have mixed feelings about the play because if all this had happened at the right time, with a margin of rectifying Rudaba’s status, then all this would’ve made the drama a lot more interesting but for now, in my opinion, it’s coming across as a stunt for prolonging the drama & delaying the ending.

Bashar thinks he played the game well & because everything fell into its right place, he has now disclosed what his real intention was. Bashar has finally let go of the big secret that he never planned on getting married to Rudaba & he just used her as a pawn to get Tayyaba what she wanted; which was Buland. Very conveniently Bashar thought backing out from this commitment would be easy because he never took Adil seriously as he knew Adil was enslaved by all the favours Bashar has done & has been doing for him. As usual, he used Saira to manipulate Rudaba so that she could talk her out of this relation but to her surprise Rudaba’s mentally prepared for a lifelong commitment because of the principles her father has taught her. I must say this was a good move on the writer’s part but if we think of it, it doesn’t look as convincing as it would have, if, Tayyaba & Buland had not gotten married & there was still a chance lurching for Rudaba & Buland’s reconciliation.

I am glad that Adil has mustered up enough courage & is taking control of the situation which he should’ve done way before. To my surprise, Adil decided he wouldn’t let Bashar walk over him & Rudaba anymore even if it meant sacrificing his own marital life. I think this is what Adil should’ve done ages ago when he himself was aware of Rudaba’s pain but just like others, he chose to trust Bashar more & that’s why he thinks it’s about time he undoes the damage caused to his sister by all these conniving people because Adil has pretty much understood that Saira was also a part of Bashar’s strategy, which to some extent isn’t true as she herself wasn’t aware of the fact that Bashar never loved Rudaba. I think Adil feels burdened by the guilt & that’s why he took such a stern decision without even worrying about his daughter because otherwise a guy who’d agree to a proposal of Bashar & Rudaba for the sake of 25% raise in his pay, nothing else could’ve forced him to take such a strong stand.

Seems like Buland was quite settled with Tayyaba in his life but he returned at the right time to pick some gruesome details about his life & wife. I think by now he should die of shame for being absolutely brainless & to have believed in everything but the truth. Fortunately, Ramzan Chacha told him everything that he needed to know but sorry, I didn’t even feel an ounce of sympathy for him because he himself ruined his life as he clearly had trust issues. Now even if he decides to cry buckets, nothing will undo the embarrassment Rudaba had to face because of him time & again.

The recent episode was really slow with all those flashbacks & as usual long conversational scenes but I must say, Bashar’s media interview didn’t really make sense because he’s a supposed don & probably no one interviews such people that too where the focus is more on their personal life or how nazuk & andhi their prospect wives should be. I really wish if they wanted Adil to find out about Bashar’s true feelings for Rudaba, they should’ve done it some other way where may be Adil had eavesdropped on him talking on the phone to Tayyaba or something but to show an interview of Bashar wasn’t the right way of progressing the story. I also feel Buland’s return didn’t help the story in any way because they showed he’s pretty settled with Tayyaba so to make him aware of how he was treated as a stooge didn’t really affect the story much. & oh yeah, there was a lot of debate on Rudaba & Tayyaba’s same bridal dresses & luckily for us all, that issue was sorted because Tayyaba & Rudaba got the same things for their wedding. To see Buland getting swayed thinking about Rudaba while speaking to Tayyaba in that scene was ridiculous. I really wish he takes some time out & goes to a good psychiatrist because he doesn’t seem normal to me at least.

At this point we can’t be so sure about the ending & this uncertainty definitely stirs the sense of curiosity for which I am definitely tuning to this play next week to find out how things unfold. Share your thoughts on this week’s episodes of Bashar Momin.

Ohkay so, the cat’s pretty much out of the bag now, we have got all the answers that we were looking for & after finding out what they had in store for us, I am just speechless & to be honest, I am kind of disturbed because of the level of abuse shown in this drama.

Ohkay fine, Bashar grew as a person who had a twisted psychology because he took his father’s last words way too seriously where his father wanted him to become like Zafar as he defeated Momin in his life. Bashar made sure he becomes like him & he worked hard for it. They’ve pretty much shared everything but it just doesn’t seem justified, something doesn’t seem right to me. Bashar can’t love his wife because he compares Rudaba to his mother as he knows Rudaba has loved someone before him, so he has this insecurity that one fine day just like his mother, Rudaba will realize that her love for Buland didn’t die. Bashar has become over protective of his sisters because he lost one, that’s understandable. Bashar doesn’t want a child because he knows that being someone’s child, he himself couldn’t love his mother, so once again he has this complex which leads him to believe that his child will one way or the other start hating him, so yes, now we know everything about who Bashar is, what forced him to become such a ruthless person & what his insecurities, complexes & weaknesses are, but then, does it make sense at all? I mean it does but the strings that were attached to his character have actually damaged his personality & his story considerably.

I think I’d definitely blame the timing & I feel that’s a mistake on the director’s part because if he had revealed all this ages ago, I am sure we would’ve developed some sort of a soft corner for Bashar thinking he went through so much at such a young age but now I feel it’s too late to feel an ounce of sympathy for anyone including Bashar. I’d also blame the writer for giving out a very ridiculous reason that just because Bashar’s mother was in love with someone else, that changed the course of his whole life & his whole mentality. Bashar’s mother clearly looked guilt-stricken & I mean that’s just so obvious, no matter how much she had loved Zafar, she was a mother of not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4, yes that’s right, of 4 kids for God’s sake!

Now at this point in this drama, when I look back, I really think things were dragged a lot unnecessarily & meaninglessly where Buland woke up from deep slumber & wanted Rudaba back, Rudaba gave in a bit as well, Bashar’s sisters kept haunting him, Adil took a substance-less stand, I mean like one thing or the other kept on happening which really assured us that this was all what this drama’s about & now when they’ve revealed everything about the main character, everything about him is cringe-worthy.

Ohkay, let’s forget everything & let’s put everything aside, for once, I really don’t understand how can a writer, being a female herself conceive of such an idea where a female character was abused to such an extent which can’t be described in words, still she develops the feeling of love for her husband? Bashar didn’t do anything to deserve Rudaba’s love. Yes, the only good thing she saw in Bashar was that for 1 day in a year, he doesn’t reject any demand of anyone & that’s the day of his youngest sister’s death anniversary, that’s it. & we actually find out that Rudaba has fallen in love with Bashar seeing how much he loves his dead sister? I mean did she really forget how she was being abused & mistreated by him? For once, I just want to ask the writer that what made her sketch out such a character of a female who has no self-respect whatsoever & who finds repose in exposition to domestic violence.

I am not sure but I think the writer being a female herself really gave a worst shot at etching out all the female characters of this story. We have Saira, who’s negative to the core. We have Tayyaba who kept on crying buckets after getting rejected & the only purpose of her life was to get married to a man by hook or by crook. We have Bashar’s mother, who couldn’t care less about anyone else & mistook herself as a teenager in love which made her nothing but a characterless woman & then finally, we have Rudaba The Great, who gets abused & is treated like a doormat, yet she develops this feeling of love for her beast of a husband, who also drugs her to miscarry. Wah jee wah. I must say the writer, being a female herself, deserves a round of applause & a standing ovation for really demeaning women in her work so excruciatingly. I don’t know why but seems like this drama was written to thrash the dirt on women & that’s it.

I really think all the other characters like Buland, Saira, Tayyaba & Adil didn’t deserve the coverage they got in the beginning of this drama. This story actually had a lot of potential if the characters were changed a bit & the drama wasn’t dragged like this. I really want to know that as they’ve tried to justify that Bashar has had a hard life but what makes Saira so negative? She was young when she lost her parents but then her brother gave her a very good life, she got married to the man she loved & still she rolls her eyes like an owl just when she sees her brother is somewhat having a good time with his wife? I really don’t think her say in any of Rudaba’s matter is required & more so is necessary because she has a life of her own & if not I think she really needs to get one ASAP. The Saira that they showed in flashback was just a normal girl who was capable of laughing & smiling but Saira we see now is this dense & difficult woman who is not even a one bit likable, so yeah, my question remains, what made her like that too? Tayyaba was expressionless, conceited & negative like she is now but Saira’s personality was totally different in the flashback scenes as she seemed cautious & concerned for Bashar but now seems like all that has been thrown out of the window & she has become this manipulative woman, who is so negative that she puts minus to shame.

I think the director really didn’t understand what he was doing himself because ever since the drama began, Bashar hardly got any coverage because the main focus was on spare-parts & now in these 4 episodes, we didn’t get to see if Tayyaba was alive, Saira was still breathing & Adil wasn’t murdered while getting his hair trimmed & oh, once upon a time there was a spineless guy named Buland? Anyone remembers him? I think the viewers have invested a lot of time in this drama & it’s about time that it ends but I am not sure after all that Bashar has done especially poisoning his wife so that she miscarries, there’s any redemption left for his character. I really didn’t know that a drama which was made for entertainment purpose will turn out to be so disturbing & daunting. Share your thoughts please.

Surprise surprise, this episode was a lot better than the previous 3 episodes we’ve seen. The story actually kicked & to my surprise, I actually enjoyed watching the scenes of Bashar & Rudaba. Even though there were a few flaws in the episode which obviously I won’t ignore but overall it was a pretty decent episode.

When the previous episode ended, Adil scared us with his bludging eyes, giving us an impression that he’d tear the world apart in vengeance for the sake of how he & his baby sister were deceived, but in a supposed next scene, he was seen being a part of the conversation concerning Tayabba & Buland’s wedding.

Apparently, Rudaba thinks she ain’t allowed to cry? Excusez-moi? If now she’s crying in a limit, not sure what would’ve happened if there was no barrier to her flood of tears? Finally Rudaba has come to terms with what has happened & has now started speaking to Bashar about how she feels. I actually liked the scenes of Rudaba this time. Her conversations with Ramzan Chacha, then Adil & in the end Bashar were done well because they were short & to-the-point. I actually smirked at how Bashar eased up while speaking to her & sort of let go off the facade he carries, in front of her. Seems like Bashar also made an effort of being easy on Rudaba because she is going through a hard time plus also he had a few things to demand, so he thought it’d be a good idea if he did it without making it too difficult for her & may be because of that, for the first time what Bashar said really made sense.

I cringed once again looking at how Buland reacted to the whole situation. He definitely seemed unhappy at his decision but then it made me think why did he dive into the relation? When he got aware of the false-truth that Rudaba confessed to him, why didn’t he just go back when he was so hurt? He wasn’t obviously ecstatic after finding a perfect roti surat partner for himself, so then what was the point of getting engaged to Tayyaba? He even said to her that he won’t be happy at their wedding, so what forced him into this relation? The best solution was to invest one time on a ticket to America & going into a deep slumber for good, but then after he already decided to get married to her, why was he whining? Was he sad because he found a girl who looked taller than him on the wedding stage? Oh, now I get it, this must be the only thing that might be upsetting him.

Is it just me or Tayyaba actually looked unreal while smiling? Actually I ask this because I have seen her cry so much that her smile just didn’t really appeal to me. I really wish they had gotten rid of the stark white light in the post-wedding scene of Tayyaba & Buland. I think the lighting should’ve been soft & not so in-your-face-bright. & isn’t it weird that your very first conversation after marriage turns into an opportunity for you to flaunt how many ex-fiancée/fiancés you have? While looking at both the heart-broken raccoons, I was like Voila! It’s a match made in heaven.

The biggest flaw that I noticed was while doing breakfast in the wee hours of morning; Saira dressed in a Valima-appropriate ensemble just says to her maid that Pareezay’d be returning from school so she should keep her things ready? Which school is it whose session ends while people in the house are still having their breakfast & the father hasn’t even left for the office yet? Anyways, now when the crier Tayyaba is taken care of, I think Bashar has gotten a chance to give an undivided attention to his wife & win her heart, but one thing’s for sure, I am going to fetch my sunglasses before watching the next episode because the lighting is just so bright that it blinds me. :/ After recovering from squinting & after rubbing your eyes, please do share your thoughts on this episode. :)

PS: In my opinion, the guy who has caterwauled the high-pitched song of this drama should quit singing because it’s just so flat that it puts all the flat surfaces of the mother Earth to shame.

Well, trust me when I say this, I actually really like this drama a lot as in considering it just being a drama which offered an entirely different plot & broke the monotony of dramas that focused more on the domestic issues but to see the level at which the story has come to really disappoints me. I still stand by what I say that I actually really like this drama but I wish the writer had given us some relatable characters for whom we had felt something.

I know, the story was interesting when Bashar, Rudaba & Buland’s love triangle was in the picture but to see Tayyaba taking a front seat is what makes me unhappy. When I look at her character, I really don’t think Tayyaba’s worthy of all the hassle & attention that she’s getting which actually makes her look like a main character of the play. When I gave this drama a go, I was pretty sure the drama was named as Bashar Momin & not as Tayyaba Momin, but to see everyone revolving around her & mending their ways to pick up the smiles that she dropped on the road doesn’t seem just right.

I mean did I miss out on something because I really didn’t get why Rudaba showed such submissiveness for which she agreed to brain wash the stooge called Buland against her so that he could marry Tayyaba? Couldn’t she just have said no to what Bashar had asked for? I actually would’ve liked it better if they had showed something about Tayyaba, if they had added some realism to her character, if they had made sure that she wasn’t just a damsel (not sure though) in distress who lost her eyesight’s because of her constant crying prowess & caterwauling? I am sure if they had shown Tayyaba as someone who was capable of other things except crying as well, people would’ve felt her pain or would’ve rejoiced seeing she got someone who was ready to spoil his life with/for her? I mean I just don’t get why all of a sudden the story shifted from the main characters to the side character of Tayyaba who ain’t worth it.

I expected some other level of acting from Sami Khan seeing his experience in the industry but why did he look like he was intimidated by Bashar that he was trying to keep his nerves calm & was on the way to an asthma attack? In the monologue scene of Rudaba & Buland, it looked like he ran out of breath after hiking so was trying to catch on some oxygen so that he could complete the remaining act. I don’t understand what got into Ushna Shah for which she started switching in between the expressions of sheer joy & pain while delivering dialogues? Trust me; it doesn’t prove anything about your acting Ushna. I don’t think she was capable of pulling off such a lengthy scene where she had so much to say because none of it made sense & after that, none of it struck a chord.

As discussed on the previous thread, when the drama began I myself actually thought we’d get to see a story of a don & was more interested in seeing what sort of circumstances compelled Bashar to become such a rigid & ruthless person but I think the writer didn’t really bother much as she was too busy turning him into a refined BHAI JAAN who was more worried about what breakfast his niece ate. He seemed too involved in playing the domestic politics & just because of focusing on such unnecessary details I feel the writer forgot to show us some background about his character.  I feel just because we were missing a piece of an important information about the main character; in the beginning episodes, he looked half-mad for yelling out so loud because we had no detailing about his character to begin with. I think the writer should’ve invested a little more time in actually bringing out the insights of all the characters on the surface more so that we; as viewers could’ve understood what made Bashar such a diabolic? What made Buland such an insecure puppet? What made Tayyaba such a weak person who was indulged in self-pity? What made Saira pull off a fake English/Urdu accent? & who trimmed Adil’s non-existing hair?

I actually wish when the drama ends, Buland; as in the character of Buland himself buys a DVD of Bashar/Tayyaba Momin & watches this drama to understand what game was played upon him & how he made a fool out of himself. Even though I have no grounds to feel a thing for any of the characters but I am glad Rudaba is married to a man who is at least blessed with a thing called brain, because he can manage things using it & isn’t married to a person who wasn’t allotted one by default. Yes, I’d once again say that I like to watch this drama for the only purpose of seeing how it ends because we’re more than a half way through it but I am displeased at the shift of focus on some useless character. Share your thoughts on this please.

Hmmm, this episode was all about manipulative philosophies & the riddles that Bashar kept on chanting in front of Rudaba, which I am sure she didn’t get an iota of because none of it actually made any sense. I don’t know why but I feel by this time, the creative team of Bashar Momin starting from the dialogue writer to the director were trying too hard for every single thing, that’s why none of the scenes seemed flowy or natural. Everything looks just so forced, starting from everyone’s expressions to everyone’s feelings to everyone’s acting. As much as I myself like the story & the plot of the drama (despite it being very predictable) I wish it was executed intelligently because it had a potential of being a memorable project.

The conversation of Adil & Rudaba which was shot in exactly the same angle as the previous conversation sounded just so unrealistic. Adil felt remorse for what he has done to his sister so he just tried to calm himself down by having a pep-talk with his baby sister to feel better, but it felt that in that particular scene both Ushna Shah & Yasir Mazhar tried really hard to bring out some acting from the inside but sadly it just didn’t happen. I was actually kind of getting irritated seeing a million expressions on both of their faces which just weren’t required. The split second smiles & frowns were kind of very confusing & didn’t convey the crux of that conversation; which was to show that Adil was actually feeling guilty for how he wronged his sister that too after the death of their father, which Ramzan Chacha reminded him of.

The only aspect that actually makes me feel bad for Rudaba is her association with Saira that too in a dual relationship. Saira is Rudaba’s brother’s wife & also her husband’s sister & she is leaving no stone unturned to act as both Bhabhi & Nand to Rudaba to make her life miserable already. That’s why just now when Rudaba’s Nikkah took place; the very next thing Saira attempted was to malice Bashar’s feelings against her just because Rudaba didn’t bother meeting Tayyaba after her accident. Does Saira really think that after all what Tayyaba has done to Rudaba, she’d really be bothered about her being dead or alive? I thought Bashar would react on what Saira fed him but to my surprise, he seemed to have been on a trip of his own where only he knew what he was saying because just like Rudaba, I didn’t understand a bit of it as well. :/ *sowwie*

I think the director once again tried really hard to make us actually feel an ounce of sympathy for Buland but nope, it just didn’t happen. Buland’s self-thought misery of seeing Rudaba everywhere just didn’t strike a chord because he really needs to gather himself & then think what he is doing now & what he has done before. When Rudaba was near him, he saw everyone else around him except Rudaba & now when she’s gone, he claims to have been hallucinating about her. I think he needs a good night’s sleep or an appointment at the shrink’s ASAP, may be only then he’d stop swaying like a pendulum & might realize that he’s a human being & a man at that too.

I think this episode in particular should’ve been very gripping because they have started a new & a very important chapter in the form of Bashar & Rudaba’s relation but everything just seemed so forced that I had a hard time relating to what each character was going through. I don’t know if it was the big budget that was bothering the director or what because seems like he pressurized all of them to perform so much, that they just couldn’t deliver what was asked & expected of them. I think the angles & shots are pretty out-there already so there was no such need of making everything else so loud & difficult. If things would’ve been tackled with ease & a light-hand, these couple of episodes would’ve left a mark which was required because we’re heading towards the climax of the show. Hmmmm so, finally after a long long wait, Bashar Bhai’s back. :) Even though I have no issues with the script & I myself enjoy watching this drama a lot but in this episode in particular, I had an issue with the direction. The scenes seemed never-endingly long, but other than that, I like the way the story’s moving forward.

The conversation between Adil & Rudaba showed that Adil has gotten much comfortable in his life being Bashar Momin’s brother-in-law that he wasn’t ready to give it all up just for the sake of his sister. It showed that deep down he himself enjoys the status & luxuries he has gotten being Saira’s husband. Adil is well aware of the fact that he has allowed himself to become a stooge of Bashar & Saira, therefore he was ready to make his only sister a sacrificial lamb for the sake of his own benefit. Adil actually knows that Bashar Momin is not a suitable prospect for Rudaba as he is well-aware of Bashar’s track record & criminal history but just because he fears losing everything including his family, he decided to give in & not only convinced but imposed his decision on her, sort of emotionally blackmailing his sister to agree for Bashar’s proposal, which sadly Rudaba accepted as she still cares for her brother & respects him.

Seems like Rudaba sent an e-mail to Buland after he went back to USA, to make him understand the game that was being played to part them & just because Buland actually loved Rudaba despite having the trust issues, he returned to see if he could salvage the relation he cut ties from, but sadly for him, it was too late. I know we should be feeling bad for Buland as he lost his love but I didn’t feel anything for him, as I feel it was his fault that he chose to see the other side of the picture & didn’t know how to trust his fiancée. Time & again Rudaba kept on making him understand what he meant to her & how much she loved him but just because he had his own insecurities, he was the one sitting in a dark lounge room, crying his wits out.

Even though Bashar thought he has won Rudaba but little did he know that his victory celebrations were short-lived as he has a misfortune-love-struck rain-soaked puppy named Tayabba as his sister who he needs to tend to. Bashar found out that Rudaba sort of exposed the plan in front of Buland which he & his sister Tayyaba spewed to create misunderstandings between them but just because he has a very strong & intelligent pawn; Saira, he manipulated Adil once again to make-believe Buland about the things he’s thinking of otherwise. It looked like Adil not only looks upto Bashar but is also intimidated by him; therefore he agreed to take all the blame on himself for Rudaba’s Nikkah, so that he can clear off Tayyaba’s name to make her look more bechari than she actually is.

The story has gotten really interesting & I am happy that the drama has resumed. Even though I have no issues with the cast once again because I am enjoying seeing the uncommon faces on screen but I really wish they had hired someone else to play the role of Tayyaba. I mean sorry to say but to see everyone putting in so much of an effort that too for ‘her’, I mean…you know what I mean, right LOL. I really wish they hadn’t used that stark white light to create the ambiance which they failed at miserably because most of the time I found myself squinting & then resorted to my specs, trust me that lighting ain’t doing anything except making you look away from the TV screen. I actually wish they had also hired a better makeup artist to do the makeup for the Nikkah scenes, Ushna Shah looked like a raccoon who also got punched really bad in the eyes :/. Anyways, share your say & your thoughts about the latest episode of Bashar Momin. :)

Ohkay, so it was a pretty interesting episode of Bashar Momin. I enjoyed it through out but once again had an issue with the way the episode was shot. Previous episode seemed too dull & shadowy while this one was just so bright that it could impair someone’s vision. I think the people behind the camera have tried to use in some different techniques by experimenting or have actually tried to give a certain feel to the whole drama by using unusual lighting but they are failing miserably because most of the scenes seem spooky. I thought everyone in this drama was really rich so why don’t they switch the lights of their homes on? No doubt the execution of the drama is brilliant but I am actually quite annoyed with the way the lighting has been used!

Anyways, the episode was more interesting than it seemed in the preview. I kind of enjoyed the fact that in stead of becoming a girl who’d be baffled & confused at the recent turn of events, Rudaba took it pretty well & gave everyone a tough time. Previously she may have sugar coated whatever she said to Tayyaba but now she was blunt & straight forward because she knew how to hit Tayyaba’s Achilles Heel & she did it pretty well because that’s the only way Rudaba can make  Tayyaba realize how wrong she’s being. Rudaba didn’t take much time in figuring out that Tayyaba has starting taking interest in Buland & her brother is trying to buy that toy for his baby sister & felt it was just the right time to let them know that she has decoded their game plan.

Of all the people in Bashar’s family, I thought Tayyaba was different, compassionate & was just the right kind of a person who was supporting Rudaba through out but seems like Tayyaba is so much indulged in self-pity that she can’t even understand how much mean she is becoming. Tayyaba used to cry before because the guys never loved her so does she really think that Buland will be able to love her ever?

As much as I like the character of Buland & as much as I find him suitable for Rudaba, I think he must leave & shouldn’t be with her because Rudaba deserves someone better & certainly not someone who has trust issues. Rudaba may have fallen in love with her fiance Buland but I think if he can’t trust her & she has to keep on explaining everything to him every single time, I feel she must let go off him too.

I think Faisal Qureshi nailed his performance in this particular episode because he played the bechara perfectly & then the beast perfectly as well. Whatever he said to Buland was true that Rudaba has never ever confessed anything to him but the way he twisted the obvious & used it against Rudaba & in his favour was cleverly perfect. Rudaba was clearly not thinking anything other than Buland when she hurried her way downstairs to meet him but I am sure she mistook Bashar as Buland & got a bit too cozy with him. I think Buland might see that & this would prove to be the last nail in the coffin.

I enjoyed this episode a lot & just when I was questioning Adil’s return, the preview suggested he’d be back soon just to find out the mayhem that has overtook Rudaba’s life. Buland might probably be gone by this time & I hope he doesn’t come back. Can’t wait to see more.

Ohkay so, even though this drama has a few hits & a misses, I enjoy watching it. I know the major downer is Bashar Momin being a domesticated don but other than that this drama has a different plot which makes it worth a watch.

Bashar has called dibs on Rudaba & now he is leaving no stone unturned to call off her engagement with Buland. According to Bashar, Buland is a suitable prospect for Tayyaba but definitely not for Rudaba because he himself wants to win her over. I must say when the drama began I thought Rudaba’s character would be nothing new & she’d be this simple, emotionally handicapped girl who’d never know how to put forth her opinion or fight for her right but this episode certainly gave me more reasons to like her character. She may act like that in front of Bashar because she is petrified of him but the way she told Buland everything & how she literally snapped him out of the misunderstanding was brilliant because it showed what this relationship meant to her. Buland picked up the pieces & understood that she was all for him & wasn’t even interested in Bashar because she respects him like her own brother Adil & he was thinking too much about the situation whereas there was nothing to worry about.

Finally, when they both got back together Tayyaba & Bashar felt their plan slipped away from their hands & they had nothing left to misuse & turn them against each other. Buland is a perfect gentleman who not only loves but respects Rudaba a lot & she is enjoying the royalty but now very clearly she has understood that people are transpiring traps against her & Buland because she has sensed Tayyaba’s interest in Buland as well.

Rudaba clearly knows that Buland is possessive of her & for that she has tried to do everything possible to avoid any interaction with Bashar but she didn’t know this thing would be used against her but just because Saira clearly has an issue with Rudaba & she got just exactly the right point to thrash Rudaba’s reputation in front of Adil especially.

The episode ended at a perfect note because I enjoyed the showdown between Rudaba & Bashar & then Rudaba & Tayyaba as well. Rubada has understood that being polite won’t do any good to her therefore she is being straight forward about everything. She told Bashar off sternly & reminded him of his right place & that is him being more like a brother figure to her plus she also felt it was pretty much necessary to tell Tayyaba how strong her & Buland’s relation is so therefore she mustn’t try to get in between them.

Ushna Hussain has acted really well in some particular scenes except in the beginning where she is hurt & crying, she certainly doesn’t know how to cry & that’s a done deal. I must commend the dress designers for sticking to the Eastern dresses through out because this is something which we are rarely getting to see in our dramas too. The dresses may be at times a bit elaborate for daily wear but at least they have sticked to Pakistani dresses & that is something worth appreciating.

I thought this was ‘the most’ expensive drama ever made in the history of Pakistani Television but every time I see the cut-paste backdrops in the scenes of Saira & Adil, I doubt the claim. They should’ve bought the ticket to either Thailand or Malaysia & shot a few scenes there in the CBD areas because those pasted foreign backdrops are nothing but hideous. Another thing that I found really irritating through out the episode was the bad bad lighting projected on the faces of the actors. Most of the times the scenes are too dull & dark & the faces look shadowy which makes it really disturbing to see because you really can’t understand the expressions on the faces. I feel in stead of investing so much on the gaudy furniture & the expensive wallpapers, they should’ve invested in technicality because that is definitely missing in this drama.

Over all I enjoy watching Bashar Momin because it has no saas bahu k jhagray or dukhyari aurtain filling buckets with their tears to later use them for laundry purposes. All the actors have done really well but I wish someone else had played the role of Tayyaba because she looks a little…hmmm…meh! Plus yes, Faisal Qureshi came across as a lot more tolerable in this episode so yay for us!

OMG! Before saying anything, I think it’s my duty to show concern to the viewers of this play & the readers of this review for their sense of hearing, because the level of screaming that has happened in the last couple of episodes was enough to deafen the whole mankind & even I feel my eardrums are hurting severely & my eyes are sore by looking at that spotlight as it has pierced the pupil of my eye. So, my dear readers, can you hear me? & if you can, please excuse me for my harsh language as this team certainly deserves some lukewarm water soaked kainchee chappals.

Adil was clearly missing wearing suits & stammering in front of Bashar like a slave, that’s why he went back to being his old spineless self where he happily signed the deal & in literal sense, used his sister as an object to get back what he had lost. He thought he could afford losing his sister but not his non-existent hair & that is why the moment Rudaba’s rukhsati was decided, Adil got the grass on his head back, showing the sense of satisfaction he gets by being a puppy that wags his tail in front of his master. I really don’t understand why did he pull up a show of being a khud-dar bhai when he clearly lacked substance? When Adil knew he cannot fight with Bashar, then what was the drama for? To drag the actual drama? In the end he muttered like he was eating a paan & was a second away from spitting the red stream produced by it, out of his mouth. Yukh!

Oh, so this was the ‘secret’ the team was holding onto & for which they wasted 23 episodes to reveal what made Bashar such a Baji. Looks like the drama-makers really got inspired by the proverb which goes like ‘khoda pahar, nikla chuha, wo bhi mara hua’ because I am sorry, I was waiting for something big & thought something serious might’ve happened in the past but to see his mother being (sorry to be using the term) characterless, didn’t stir an iota of sympathy for him & his whole family. Now I know why they all are such a buzzkill when it comes to love because it clearly runs in the family & just as their mother was jinxed at love, they all inherited that jinxed-at-love gene. To see the whole episode dedicated to the single conversation of father & son was such a yawn provoker because we’re past that stage where we might’ve felt something, tiniest little something for this family but just because his mother couldn’t hold her horses & unhain burhapay mai ashiqui soojhi thi, it just doesn’t justify Bashar’s inhumanity.

Bashar’s father brain fed him into marrying someone who’d have a clean & pure heart but also he made sure to let him know that he should never get married to someone who had been involved in a relationship before, but Bashar being Bashar chose to ignore the latter advice as he believed in the former because no matter what, he thinks Rudaba has a clean heart, that’s why even though he didn’t want to get married to her, he still gave it a shot because this move also saved Tayyaba’s life, so he thought it would be the best thing to kill two birds with one stone plus he does have a soft corner for Rudaba may be because he fell in love with her the moment he laid eyes on her.

Uff, as much as I want to feel something for Rudaba, her bad acting & equally bad expressions don’t let me. It looks like her acting is imprisoned & trapped in her stomach & when she tries to bring it out, her stomach hurts; therefore we get to see those expressions that give us stomach cramps as well. To be honest, I think after such a bad acting & more of a bad-kismat, she should open a bottle of rat-kill & chug it down her throat because there’s a limit to being such an annoyance & I mean isn’t she tired of being one?

I am not sure but all the yells, shouts, screams & shrieks were painful to listen to. Like they say, raising your voice doesn’t really prove you right & looks like by this time around, the team had understood that they weren’t heading in the right direction, that’s why they resorted to maximum volume all of them could produce but too bad, it still didn’t do ANYTHING to save them from churning out a disaster. & yes, thanks to all those weird angles & extreme macro-shots I was able see their bloodless veins, not sure if the director decides to go more up-close & personal, we might end up seeing their nose boogers too. Pathetic is one word that comes to my mind for this drama right now. Share your thoughts please.

Tauba! So, tell me, did you guys enjoy watching this episode? I think the best title for this drama would’ve been B4: Bashar ki Behan, Biwi aur Bhanji. I thought this drama was all about a life of a don but too bad, a lot of people took over & where’s Bashar? Yes, it looks like even he’s looking for himself.

So, finally, Buland has mustered up some courage to prove to the world that he ain’t a puppet but what’s worse is that the urge to prove himself as a human being, for starters, has struck at a wrong time because he’s also going to become a father pretty soon. He thought looking into Bashar’s eyes would scare & shoo him away which I guess actually worked because after that, Bashar was nowhere to be seen. I really think instead of chucking a handful of akhrots in her mouth, Maheen should’ve replaced it with Strepsils because the shrieking voice nearly broke the glasses of my home.

To be honest, tumhari behan, meri behan, meri behan, tumhari behan, mohallay ki behan, bari behan, choti behan, achi behan, buri behan conversation Adil & Bashar had was really funny. Isn’t it sad that Bashar has no business to look after & no dreamy 100 crore deals to sign that he’s being avidly involved & taking interest in the jhamela of his sister’s marital life. Adil was right that Saira only knows how to be Bashar’s behan but not Adil’s biwi.

Rudaba had an asthma attack & in the meanwhile she also had a realization that she can’t wreck someone’s home but then I guess she will keep on having those depression pangs until Buland takes a final decision & forces her to abide by.

I think the story has become stagnant because seems like we’ll keep on seeing such repetitive scenes where Rudaba will try to avoid Buland but he will continue to get her & all that really can’t happen before the baby’s born, so yes, looks like Tayyaba will also play along to win Buland back & Bashar being Bashar; faarighest man of all times will plan & plot because like I said seems like he’s got nothing to do except taking care of his jinxed-sister duo which will compel him & eventually he’ll end up chasing his unfortunate & unlucky jeejas – Buland & Adil.

I really don’t think it was a good idea to make Bashar Momin the main lead of the drama because his character hasn’t gotten the coverage that any central character would normally get. Ever since the drama has begun we’ve seen the focus shifting from Fathers to Rudaba to Buland to Adil to Tayyaba & now to Saira & what’s more funny is that even Parizay’s getting more coverage than her mamu, lol. Seems like Faysal Qureshi was promised to have a main role & when he signed the drama, the script was changed & then the writer screamed ‘BAKRAAAAAAAAA’ because other than that I really don’t see a reason that the guy who has a drama based on his name has no substantial role to play at all. All this while it looks like he’s only there as a guardian to his misery-struck sisters & that’s it.

I really don’t think they have the time left to shift the focus back on Bashar’s story & for the viewer’s sake, I wish they wind up the story soon by showing who got Rudaba in the end & who won the licence to buy her an inhaler. Share your thoughts on this please.
