Earlier last year rumors of actress Veena Malik getting divorce from her husband first surfaced but later the news spread that the two had reconciled. In a latest interview at Bol news with Amir Liaqat Veena Malik opened up about her possible divorce.

She said that both her children live with her and she is very happy with them. She further added that she wanted to set an example as an actress she left her career when it was at it’s peak and married Asad. She continued that she sacrificed as much as she could but there were issues that could not be resolved.

So eventually she decided to take Khula from her husband.

The actor took to Instagram and shared that Chalay Thay Saath is now up on Netflix.

This Syra Shahroz, Mansha Pansha, Faris Khalid, Zhalay Sarhadi and Chinese actor Kent S Leung starrer was released in April 2017. Directed by Umer Adil, Chalay Thay Saath also had a massive opening in Hong Kong.

“The film is about the different kind of relationships you deal with in life, whether they are with family or friends.”

The film is based around the character of Resham, a Doctor who is on a journey to discover her past and future alongside her friends. The film depicts a cross-border love story between a Chinese man and Resham.

The United Producers Association took a stand against the airing of foreign content on television through their Twitter handle. We are all familiar with Pakistani channels airing Indian as well as Turkish dramas one after the other. Many artists have come out for supporting the cause. The actors including Faysal Qureshi, Adnan Siddiqui, Samina Ahmed and Ajaz Aslam protested outside the Supreme Court against airing foreign content.

Chief Justice Of Pakistan has taken notice and has asked the actors to file a request. Then they will get a hearing date and steps will be taken according to the court’s proceedings.

Javed Sheikh directorial Wajood is releasing this Eid ul Fitr. The film stars Danish Taimoor, Javed Sheikh, Saeeda Imtiaz, Nadeem Baig and Aditi Singh among others. Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi’s feud has taken a different direction since both parties decided to take it to the court. Ali Zafar was the one who wanted to fight it legally. He did not reply to Meesha’s allegations on social media. He sent a legal notice to Meesha through his legal team stating that Meesha has to delete the tweet wherein she accused him of sexual harassment and apologise on the same platform or else pay 1 billion rupees fine for defamation.

Meesha Shafi’s legal team which consists of Nighat Dad and Ahmed Pansota have rejected the notice which was sent to Meesha on 25th April. They have denied all the allegations of false accusing from Ali’s side as well as asked him to publically apologize for his acts. The notice read:

“Your client (Zafar) is urged to withdraw the unlawful and false notice and issue an apology immediately for the wrongs he has committed against women.”

Many dramas are coming out on social issues these days. Both Mohsin Abbas Haider and Sonya Hussyn have been parts of such projects. Mohsin starred in Muqabil which tackled the issue of abuse while Sonya just was seen in Aisi Hai Tanhai. Both the stars will now work together on a project which will raise awareness about child abuse.

Celebrities React on Mohsin Abbas Haider Wife Fatima’s News

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reportedly summoned actor Saba Qamar on May 16 for evasion of taxes.

The FBR has reportedly sent a notice to the actor to explain a discrepancy in her filed income taxes. The actor’s income taxes filed for the year 2014-2015 are being audited, as reported by a source.

The source also added,

“Saba Qamar’s filed income taxes do not match her lifestyle. Further investigation will be conducted on details presented by the actor and then her income taxes filed for the years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 will also be audited,”

However, Saba Qamar denied receiving any notice from the FBR.

“I have not received any notice. This happens every year and I am used to it by now.”

In September last year, a notification from the FBR stated that Saba Qamar had been found to be a tax evader. The FBR had stated Qamar had defaulted on tax worth Rs3.4 million.

It was also reported that the board had sealed the actor’s house as she did not respond to notices.

However, the starlet had dismissed the reports saying,

“My house has not been sealed, neither has my bank account. I’m a tax filer. It’s very disappointing that channels are circulating such news without finding out the truth. These channels have no credibility as they have been spreading such rumours.”

We all begged and fought for justice and finally, the killer was arrested. A Plus is making a telefilm on the topic titled Zainab Ke Qatil. It is written by Umera Ahmed and according to the makers will highlight the role of media in the case.

Amin Ansari, Zainab’s father has now told the media that the makers did not take permission from him for making this kind of a film on his daughter. He said that he was not aware of any such development and will not allow the channel to use his daughter’s name.

The move shows extreme insensitivity that the makers didn’t bother to ask for permission from the parents who have recently gone through such a painful dilemma!
