Recently a ‘private’ and objectionable video of singer cum actress Rabi Pirzada went viral on social media. The video, leaked by unknown sources, spread like wildfire and soon a number of people were found sharing Rabi’s dance video without consent.

Some bashed, some supported Rabi for the leak of her videos but most people came forward calling out those who were sharing and spreading the objectionable videos. Following the leak, Rabi, herself, stated that the videos had been in an old smartphone of hers which she had sold and she had sought out help from cyber crime cell against the person she had sold the phone too.

Singer Meesha Shafi, advocate Nighat Dad and filmmaker Jami, also came forward in support of Rabi, stating how the culprit should be punished for leaking the video without Rabi’s consent and that people should stop bashing her for whatever happened.

Following the leak, fake news about Rabi Pirzada committing suicide out of shame has also been doing rounds. Although there is no grain of truth to this news, people have been quick to comment and pass judgement about how Rabi ought to have committed suicide for the mistake she made.

Regarding her character in the film Armeena said, “This is the first time I will be seen in this avatar. It is a far cry from the regular portrayals of [women] that the Pakistani audiences are used to. I am playing the main antagonist and female lead in the film.”

Islam is a religion of peace and encourages all its followers to help the ones in need and stand for those who are being wronged. Many of our celebrities work for the underprivileged and use their celebrity status to do good in the world. Our Syrian brethren are going through the most difficult of times. With taking refuge in different countries they are in pain and homeless.

Among many celebs who have taken up the initiative to help them, one is our very own Armeena Rana Khan. Armeena has been raising funds for the Syrians for quite some time now. The actress went to distribute donations on her own and also visited the area to understand the situation on her own. She shared the moments on her Instagram. Here have a look:

Armeena Khan is quite active on social media. She is vocal about her opinion. In past, Armeena Rana Khan has called out Bollywood actors, especially Priyanka Chopra, for glorifying war and lauding the Indian forces’ breaching of the Line of Control.

Recently she also gave a shut-up call to her hater. Armeena called out her hater for calling her ‘ghatiya’ and using abusive language for her. Armeena took to her Instagram story and called out her hater.

Armeena wrote:

Dear troll, oh I am very decent but my decency has limits.

She continued and said, “Let’s analyze your statement, shall we? so I randomly message you to swear at you? Brazen faced lying at it’s best. So what’s the reason that will make me swear at you.”

Armeena usually blocks her haters but this time she didn’t spare her abusive hater. In the end, she wrote, “Now back to civility and decency because 90% of the times I’ll ignore you or block/delete. I haven’t the time to sit here and randomly send abusive messages to people. #Benice”

Online bullying has emerged as a huge problem in the world. Since the access to the internet has increased 10 folds, people use the service to showcase their opinions openly and as it is so discreet, no one has a problem with being utterly negative on social media. Celebrities are also encountering this problem now more than ever. Anyone can reach them via social media and say whatever they want to say. This decreased distance has not only helped fans but also some bullies who direct their negativities easily towards the celebs.

Armeena Rana Khan is a celebrity who is very open with her opinions and never shy away from putting out her point of view. A person on the internet called her out for that. He asked her to get more education and become a part of the assembly. Armeena did not let him go and clapped back at him. This is what Armeena said:

Online bullying has just destroyed someone and people still do not think how their words can affect someone in the long run. Armeena, however, did not shy away from showing the bully his place and gave him a good shut up call.

Coronavirus is spreading all over the world rapidly. It originated from China and now the super-power country, America, has the most cases than any other country. There is no cure for this disease, the only way to control it is isolation. 

Coronavirus patients are kept in self-isolation to recover from it. Therefore, Pakistan is completely locked down to save people from coronavirus. Except for general stores, hospitals, and pharmacies, everything else is closed until the situation gets better. 

People are requested to stay inside homes to avoid social gatherings to keep themselves and others safe. All the marriage halls are closed by the government to maintain social distancing. Keeping the current situation in mind, Armeena Khan celebrated her birthday in quarantine. 

Armeena posted her birthday pictures on Instagram to share them with her fans and followers. No friends and no relatives were invited to celebrate her birthday. She thanked her parents for making her day even more special.

Recently, Armeena shared her two cents on Twitter when chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed abused people from the entertainment industry on live television.

The actor wrote,

“Who is this man? Why is he using such abusive language against the film industry?” She further questioned the content that is aired on TV, stating, “Why is such obscene language allowed on mainstream television?”

Speaking of Sheikh, Armeena still couldn’t believe what he thought about the film fraternity.

She added,

“I am embarrassed for this man. I mean, how do you just sit there and make such statements without realising the wider ramifications? Is he educated? What background does he come from?”

The Janaan actor also explained that if Sheikh was in the UK, a person like him wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near public office.

She was also among the artists who appreciated the IAF after they crossed the LOC.

However, recently she has written a post on her social media accounts that suggests she has received criticism against her fiancé, a British bureaucrat of Pakistani origin, Fesl Khan. According to Armeena’s post, Pakistanis have criticised Fesl on the basis of his complexion, so Armeena expresses her disappointment that she was not expecting her  fellow citizens to be so negative and so derogatory. She explains that he has never received any such comment in the U.K, so she is very upset to hear those thing here.

This made us take a long and hard look at Fesl and his complexion and we are left confused. Why would anybody want to comment on anyone’s dusky complexion, and on a man’s for that matter. That sounds extremely weird. Do share your thoughts on this please.

Armeena Rana Khan is over the moon these days. She has just got engaged to her mystery man in Cuba. The proposal was the perfect combination of romantic and dreamy. Her fiancé got on his knee infront of the beautiful scenery in Cuba and Armeena said yes to the proposal.

Armeena Rana Khan is engaged to Feysl Khan who is a politician and the couple always look out of this world beautiful. They compliment each other to the nines and are just perfect for each other. Armeena’s latest film Sherdil has released and is doing pretty well at the box office.
