Over the past several months there has been a viral buzz speculating as to who would be cast as the lead stars of Balu Mahi with possible on-screen pairings being suggested online including Sanam Baloch and Mikaal Zulfikar; Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan; Ali Zafar and Humaima Malik and Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali before Osman and Annie beat out the contenders and were finalized.

Annie, who is the much-loved voice of the revolutionary animated TV serial character ‘Burka Avenger’ will be specially flying in from London (where earlier in the year she had been spotted socializing with Ranbir Kapoor) to begin shooting in January 2016.

Anmol Baloch and Ali Raza are shining in Iqtidar these days. The drama is getting a good number of views and it is a hit with the audience. The actors have worked together for the very first time and fans are loving the chemistry they were able to shape. The actors were both guests on Fuchsia and spoke about filming the romantic scenes.

Anmol Baloch and Ali Raza revealed that they had to shoot the promo shot on the very first day they met. They did not know each other before and Ali had to pick up Anmol in order to get the shots. Ali revealed that he has always tried to maintain a distance with female colleagues while Anmol is also very particular. But these two were comfortable together and their vibe matched.

They later on had romantic scenes as well but their vibe was positive and they were very professional. Both the actors revealed that their romantic scenes were mostly improvised and they did not rehearse anything so it looks natural.

Anmol Baloch is an emerging actress in Pakistan’s drama industry. She has started her career two years back with a soap on hum TV alongside Babar Khan named “Ek larki aam si”. Later on, she appeared in a supportive role in the drama serial “Deewar-e-shab”. She has recently appeared in the drama “Qurbaten” in a negative role alongside Shahbaz Shigri. Her currently on-air drama is Khuwaab Nagar ki Shehzadi on ARY Digital. Anmol Baloch has a huge fan following on Instagram despite the fact that she has appeared in really few dramas.

She has recently appeared in a show on the youtube channel “Fucshia Magazine”, where she shared about her acting debut. Anmol Baloch was asked how she came into the field of acting, on which She replied, “A few years back before starting acting I made a Facebook account where I uploaded some of my pictures and wrote actress in Bio of my account. After one and a half months, I received a message from a director who called me for a role. I went there and told him that I have never played any role and that’s my first time and He replied You will do it I know and that was my first debut project”.

She further said, ” Later on, I received a call from Hum Tv where I got rejected for the main lead and I was offered a supporting role because my Urdu was not so well. Months after working on my Urdu I received a call for the main lead in the same project ” Ik Larki Aam si” on HUM TV. After that, I haven’t thought of leaving acting because I enjoy working and being on the sets.”
