Faysal Qureshi’s new drama Log Kia Kahenge is all set to bang on our TV Screen.

The drama stars Faysal Qurehsi in lead role, Ijaz Aslam and Saheefa Jabbar are also playing prominent characters in the drama.

From the teasers the story is quite apprehendable, that Faysal Qureshi and Ijaz Aslam would be close friends/cousins. Ijaz Aslam would be earning a handsome amount of money and struggling to give his family a luxurious life and then all of sudden after losing his job, Log Kia Kahenge becomes the biggest fear of his life forcing him to take his life.

Faysal Qureshi is a firm believer that social media has a lot of power that can change minds of the people which is why he made a long video message for his fellow countrymen on this day. In this video message Faysal Qureshi said, “We should all look at ourselves as Pakistani and not as Balochi, Punjabi, Pathan or Sindhi. People try their best to divide us and we get divided. We keep on fighting based on territory, creeds and religion. We live in one country and rejoice in the same things like when Pakistani films or games get recognition we are all happy but when that time ends we again turn against each other. I request all of you that we should value our country and on this 14th August it makes me very happy to see that many people thought of the APS attack and the sad incident in Kasur.”

He also said, “Social media is a very powerful medium. We should use this medium properly because that way we can change a lot of things.”

Talking about his recent inclusion in the LSA and his rejection of the award he said, “I have won this award many times so it was never about my own recognition but the recognition of many other people who worked very hard for that project.”

Faysal Qureshi said straight away, “I do not want any nominations, I work for my fans and not for getting awards.”

Faysal Qureshi said that many people are trying that we should fight with each other but we should beware of such people and not listen to them. He also said that he has always tried to make a difference by voicing his opinion in different ways and he will continue doing so.

Humayun Saeed and Imran Ashraf are nominated for Best TV Actor (Viewer’s Choice & Critics Choice) Award at Lux Style Awards 2020. Imran Ashraf is nominated for his work in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi and Humayun Saeed for his role of Danish in Mere Paas Tum Ho.

However, Faysal Qureshi thinks that Humayun Saeed deserves this award more than Imran Ashraf and posted a note about his decision of giving the vote in favour of Humayun Saeed.

Firdous Jamal has been under the radar for stating his opinion and passing remarks on Mahira Khan lately. Firdous Jamal’s words did not sit well with Mahira Khan’s fans and supporters. Where a lot of celebrities came in support of Mahira Khan, Momina Duraid also went one step ahead and announced banning Firdous Jamal. Firdous Jamal also continued to say that Mahira Khan was overaged to play the role of a heroine. He stated that Mahira Khan should now go for older roles. Faysal Qureshi at that point did not say anything only due to his respect for Firdous Jamal but now he decided to share his perspective. Faysal Qureshi appeared in BOL Nights with Ahsan Khan and that is where he stated what he did not like about Firdous Jamal’s statement. 

According to Faysal Qureshi, he did not like anything that Firdous Jamal said but because he was a guest on his show, he could not say anything to him to make him stop. Faysal Qureshi said that Firdous Jamal should not have commented on Mahira Khan’s age because that was wrong on so many levels. Ahsan Khan did however let Faysal Qureshi know that his response at that time didn’t suggest that he was not pleased to hear whatever Firdous Jamal was saying but in his defence, Faysal said he had to stay quiet out of respect.

Faysal Qureshi while sharing a hilarious shooting scene during his early career, mentioned that “We were shooting drama serial “Tere liyay” in Malaysia and I remember Sara Loren used to take a lot of time to get ready for the scene. Our producer Baber Javed was continuously irritating me so asked him not to disturb me otherwise I’ll drag the shoot and he was like ok I’ll see what can you do. Sara and my romantic scene was going on and what I did in between was I picked Sara up and threw her in water and the shoot stopped for an hour or so.”

While sharing another hilarious story from Azerbaijan, Faysal stated that “We faced a lot of difficulties while shooting in Azerbaijan due to different language. What happened was my stomach was upset and we had to buy yogurt from the market. We were just trying hard to make the shopkeeper understand that we need yogurt. We tried a lot but he couldn’t understand what yogurt is. We went inside the shop and the moment I picked the pack of yogurt, I told him this is what I was asking for and what he replied was ‘Ohh Dahi’ and I was speechless at that moment.”

People were curious to know about the reason for ending this show and Faysal Qureshi came forward and said, “I am not sad about the decision made by the management. I am aware of the conditions of showbiz and we need to work on that. I am very thankful for the management that they tried for the show despite the conditions. In the end, it’s all business, we get paid for it and we need to understand that if show is not earning then it’s better to shut it down. The people who are saying that it’s injustice with them they should understand.”

He further added, “I have done morning shows and now I see what changes come into my life. Yes, the big change will come that I focus more on acting.”

Faysal Qureshi recently joined hands with Bol Entertainment and started hosting a game show by the name of Khush Raho Pakistan on Bol Entertainment.

Faysal Qureshi undoubtedly is one amazing actor. But he is as amazing a family man as well. In fact Faysal is usually spotted alongside his wife and daughter, taking vacations, attending school events and just about chilling with his family casually.

In a recent interview with Samina Peerzada, the actor opened up about his affectionate nature and his two marriages, stating how a few things should always just stay in the heart.

Faysal talked about how he had been content with his life and love for the past ten years when he married his wife Sana in 2010. Sana and Faysal have a beautiful daughter together and Faysal absolutely dotes on Ayat.

When questioned about how easy was it for him to move on after his first marriage and divorce, Faysal opened up how a few things were best when not talked about.

“Its best to keep a few things in the heart. Its not easy to move on, for anyone, but yes, there are a few things that are bound to happen and they do,” said Faysal.

Adding further, the Rang Laga actor also stated that he didn’t mind if people thought bad of him in regards to his first marriage and divorce because a few things had to happen.

He further talked about the concept of marital rape in Pakistani society, talking about it he said, “In our society people don’t talk about the consent of women, well, they quote Islamic teachings that it is compulsory for wife to abide by the husband but it is never instructed to men about how they should be with wives, they should be gentlemen, they should be pleasing, neat, and clean. Lux Style Awards are held every year in which everyone associated with entertainment who has contributed something positive to it is given some award or nominated so that they feel appreciated. This year LSA completely ignored Bashar Momin in all categories although the team is adamant that the drama deserved to be nominated in some category. Faysal Qureshi in particular has raised his voice and shared how offended he was that Bashar Momin was not nominated in any category.
