‘Love youn bhi hota hai’, has been directed by Shoaib Khan, starring Yasir Shah and Zara Ahmed. The telefilm will telecast on friday at 9:00pm on A-Plus TV.

Pakistani audience will now soon be enjoying another anticipated movie under the title of ‘The System’ which is still in its early phase and will probably be making its release in 2014. Been directed by Shehzad Ghafoor, the movie is an action based story, focusing on the corruption within the country. Shehzad’s brother Shiraz will play the lead while the cast also includes prominent celebrities such as Irfan Khoosat, Shafqat Cheema and Nadeem Baig.

Shehzad Ghafoor is the son of Ghafoor Butt, a distributor and producer of Pakistani cinema. However, Shehzad does own his own distribution company in Norway. So far, he has mostly done business in Bollywood and Lollywood fare and will now be making his debut as a director with the said film.

 Shehzad also shared in one of his interviews that the team will be taking some contributions from the talented Indian musicians to ensure the film holds the best of the quality. He said: 

“We are doing something unique, because we have hired a lot of the technical team from India. Four songs on the soundtrack will be produced in India, and will be directed by Shalesh Suwarma, with poetry from Bollywood’s lyricist Irfan Siddiqui. The tracks will include several leading singers such as Javed Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Komal Rizvi, Palak Muchal, Mohit Pathak. Two of the film’s song videos will be shot in Norway.”

Moreover, The System basically will be a Norwegian film in Urdu, subtitled in English, Tamil and Hindi. While Shehzad believes that the market for Pakistani films in Europe and North America is still limited, he plans to release at an international level.

Quite recently, news regarding the upcoming Pakistani film “Rishtay” came along. What’s funny is how the poster seems to be an identical twin of one of Indian classics, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum”. Netizens throughout Pakistan reacted differently to this somewhat bizarre and even a bit funny incident.First to react were the people brimming with ‘righteous indignation’. They’re the ones who just can’t bear to steal credit for other people’s hard-work. They berated the local industry non-stop for being shameless imitators. And that, at the very least, they should have chosen different colors for character outfits.Next up in line are the patriots who support their brethren as well as community through thick and thin. According to them, it’s only fair for Pakistanis to play tit-for-tat. The first teaser of upcoming Pakistani animated film The Donkey King was released on Monday.

The animated film has been directed by Aziz Jindani and the 50-second-long trailer shows that the story revolves around a donkey named Mangu Mangu Jan Mangu who dreams big despite his surroundings.

The trailer opens in a royal setting and we are given glimpses into the kingdom of the donkey only to found out that it was a dream and Mangu (the donkey) is actually a dhobi as he says “My name is ManguMangu Jan Mangu – the washing machine.”

The Donkey King is slated to release on October 13.

The movie comes under the production of ‘Karachi Production’ and is produced by Ahtsham Khalid and Syed Afzal Ali. Agha Ali is one of the multitalented artists who know the difference in between being a good actor and being a capable director. He is lately been seen in Hum TV dramas playing lead roles. He was seen in a sitcom ‘Main Hari Piya’ and is currently playing an important role of ‘Aamir’ in drama serial ‘Halki Si Khalish’.  The actor, for his love towards direction, often comes up with projects which are been directed by him and with ‘Karachi’, Agha Ali will be seen as an actor on screen and his direction will be sensed throughout the movie. Moreover, the story and the screenplay is too written by this young director.

The cast of the movie includes a list of veteran actors like Javed Sheikh, Ayesha Toor, Rashid Farooqi, Madiha  Iftikhar, Shahroz Sabzwari, Agha Ali, Ali Sikandar, Sadia Sheikh, Ijaz Aslam, Adnan Jaffar and Tipu Adnan.
