Love her or hate her but you cannot ignore her. We are speaking about none other than Alif Allah aur Insan star Ushna Shah. Ushna spoke her heart out about the Ramadan hypocrisy and this is what she had to say:

I’m not very religious, that is obvious, but I will take being a bystander and being deemed whatever the hell they deem me, over exploiting our religion any day! I have zero respect for the veil dawning Virgin Marys who make millions off Ramzam transmission by preaching the word of God on Iftar shows and become tutti fruitties a month later.
Many people will pretend to be someone they are not for a mere 30 days to cash in on this holy month, I may not keep all my fasts or say all my prayers, but I sure as hell won’t disrespect Islam and the millions of people fasting and truly abiding by the faith by pretending to do so just to gain the respect and the money I do not deserve.

Ushna Shah Shares Heartbreaking Incident Of Brutality Against A Stray Dog
Ushna Shah has always been very vocal when it comes to animal rights. Ushna, is an animal lover and has always stood up against brutality against animals, especially strays, voicing her concerns on social media and otherwise.
Ushna recently uploaded a video where she appeared in a visible distress, narrating a disturbing incident of brutality against animals in Karachi.
Ushna stated that she had been extremely overwhelmed but decided to make the video and bring up an issue that was generally neglected.
Ushna talked about a video which shows a dog being shot and left to die in Karachi.
“I just saw this viral video of a dog. He was sleeping next to a building and someone was filming him from above. Then, a security truck stopped by, and guards stepped out, shot the dog near the hind legs and left,” said the Alif Allah aur Insaan actress.

Ushna also added that perhaps this attitude that humans showed to animals was one of the causes of the calamity that has surrounded the world today in the face of COVID19.
“Everywhere across the country, people are torturing and killing animals heartlessly. There is also a misconception that the coronavirus has spread because of them. But animals were abused irrespective of the virus as well,” she added.
Stating further, Ushna also added that there had been a number of other ways the animal could have been handled, “He could have even been euthanized, spayed, neutered or just been given to an animal organisation. But they chose a single bullet to end it all,” she said.

Ushna revealed that she was not able to recognize an actor that she used to go to the gym with. She revealed that she worked with actor Akhter Husnain in Aakhir Kab Tak where he played her uncle. She revealed that due to a fake news, she doubted him to be an animal abuser and when she saw him at her gym, she never talked to him. She then saw him on sets of her drama and did not recognize him. She was not able to tell that the two people were the same for 4 months when the actor asked her and she put two and two together.
