Tammana was released on 6th June 2014. It is a British-Pakistani film directed and written by Steven Moor and produced by Sarah Tareen. Starring Mehreen Raheel,Omair Rana,Salman Shahid,Feryal Gauhar the music was composed by Sahir Ali Bagga. It was based on 1970’s play Sleuth by Anthony Shaffer. Tammana was an experimental film and as expected fell flat at box office. Tammana also featured three songs in the voices of Ali Azmat, Amanat Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali.

Tamkenat is a doctor, comedian, social media content creator and social activist. ARY Digital’s biggest reality show Tamasha 2 has been the talk of the town for the past fifty days. Well, this season Tamasha 2 created quite a stir because of the amazingly popular and talented showbiz stars who were a part of the show. It may be noted that the format of the show was quite similar to international reality shows like Big Brother and Bigg Boss, the show’s rights were also bought from Big Brother this year.

This year, the Season 2 of Tamasha started with famous contestants which included Amber Khan, Aruba Mirza, Michelle Mumtaz, Zainab Raza, Ali Sikander, Faizan Sheikh, Adnan Hussain, Danish Maqsood, Natasha Ali, Neha Khan, Nida Firdous, Rana Asif, Omer Shahzad and Junaid Jamshaid Niazi. All these contestants were celebrated Pakistani media figures. The top 5 finalists of the show were Faizan Sheikh, Junaid Jamshed Niazi, Omer Shahzad, Aruba Mirza and Neha Khan. Well, the viewers followed the show passionately. They loved all the contestants, however, the Tamasha viewers said that they weren’t expecting Aruba Mirza to win. Soon after the announcement of the winner, fans attacked Ary Digital’s Instagram page and expressed their disappointment over the decision. Many Tamasha viewers are of the view that the show was biased and it didn’t follow the votings. Mostly fans were of the view that Junaid Niazi was the potential winner of the show. Fans were also praising Omer and wanted to see him as winner. Releasing on 13th June 2014, Tamanna is an upcoming film starring Salman Shahid, Omair Rana, Mehreen Raheel and Faryal Gohar, the film is produced by Sarah Tareen and directed by British director Steven Moore. The film is based on Anthony Shaffer’s play Sleuth and is said to be first neo-noir film of Pakistani cinema.

Express TV’s famous drama Razia got a huge critical acclaim. Razia was a brilliantly written and perfectly executed short series. The series featured ace actor Mahira Khan along with a talented cast which includes Momal Sheikh, Mohib Mirza, Parveen Akbar, Kausar Siddiqui, Shaheera Jalil Al Basit, Kaleem Ghori, Arman Sami, Kashif Hussain, M. Saqib Rajput, Shahzad Mallick, Akbar Islam, Daniya Kanwal, Samina Nazeer, Abeer Naeem, Fajr Sheikh, Esha Usman, Abrish, Aiza Khan, Umm e Laila, Ali Hur, Shayan, Abdullah, Hashir, Minsa Salman, Meryam Zehra, Fatima Imtiaz. The drama was penned by Mohsin Ali who was also the director of this masterpiece. Executive producers of the project are Hina Aman & Kamran Afridi. Ali Salman is the project head of the drama.

This Sunday, the brilliant cast of Razia made an appearance in The Talk Talk Show hosted by Hassan Choudary. The cast talked about their background and how they became part of the iconic short series Razia.

Kaleem Ghori, who played the character of Mannu shared the details about himself. He said, “I was studying in Napa, I joined Napa in 2013, and completed studies in 2016. Besides this, I have been doing theatre for so long. I was getting work in the theatre but didn’t get work in the industry. Yes, I did a lot of other roles in various dramas. I used to get very small roles. You can say that I worked as a junior artist and then I also got a few films. Now, Alhamdullilah, two of my dramas are airing, Working Women & 101 Talaqain. Also, I worked in Javed Iqbal, Laal Kabootar and other films, it is quite big of Mohsin Ali that he casted me in Razia. Here is the link to the video:
