Famous Pakistani singer, Sanam Marvi, has filed for a divorce from husband Hamid Ali in a family court in Lahore.

The famous folk singer married Hamid Ali in 2009 and has three children with him.

As per Marvi’s petition, her husband’s attitude changed drastically once they were married.

“He became abusive, would beat me and curse me. I was putting up with his abuse for the sake of my children,” stated the folk singer.

Stating how it was not possible for her to be with her husband any longer, Marvi has requested the court to issue her a khula decree as soon as possible.

Salman Ahmad is a famous Pakistani born-American musician, professor and activist. In 1990 as an engineer of band ‘Vital Signs’ he made ‘Junoon’ with Brian O’Connell, an American Bass player and pioneered Sufi rock in Pakistan. Salman Ahmad while revealing about his upcoming album, mentioned that “It will be Pakistan’s 75th anniversary on 14th August 2022. On the 75th anniversary of Pakistan I’ve decided to release a album for Pakistan with my sons Imran and ShairJan.”

“We need to come together as a generation and that’s why I have decided to release a album with my sons. My sons have already been in music since a long time”, added Salman Ahmad.

Singer Nouman Javaid was in the news few weeks back not because of a sad but happy news about his nikkah with the famous singer Fariha Pervaiz. The couple did not confirm the news but it was everywhere, a rumor which was most probably true.

Things took a bad turn for the singer for unknown reasons. On March 24 he posted on his facebook page,

“There is someone who is out to get me … kindly if any of you receive any email or any message regarding anything please disregard it …”

No one knew the reason behind this status but it pointed to the fact that the singer was having problems with someone. On March 25 he posted a status saying,

“This damn world is a dirty shameful place people cant see anyone happy they try their best to ruin your life … i always thought does that really happens … just happened with me … be careful of the devil he is in people …”

Nouman Javaid usually replied to every comment but after posting this comment when people asked him if he was okay he did not reply to anyone.

On March 26 Nouman Javaid posted the status,

And right now he is in ICU fighting for his life. According to sources the singer tried to commit suicide but no one is sure why he had to take such a step.

Famous actor Imran Abbas also posted a status in which he informed people that Nouman Javaid was in critical condition and asked people to pray for him.

Nooran Laal further added that she managed to attend her mother’s funeral. The singer also added that she was not on the talking terms with her family because they disowned her after she got married outside the family.

Singer Maha Ali Kazmi, who worked with Aamir Zaki around 2007 or early 2008 releases a song ‘Aaj Sun Ke Tumhara Naam’ soon after Aamir Zaki’s one-month death anniversary.

The latest Bond movie, ‘No Time to Die’ bagged a total of three nods in the 94th Academy awards including ‘Best Original Song’, ‘Best Song’, and ‘Best Visual Effects’. The visual team for the movie includes young artist from Pakistan, Laraib Atta, the digital compositor for the movie. The team also received the nomination at BAFTA 2022 for ‘Best Special Visual Effects’.

He is not a good singer, but you can’t say that his success is a decline to music, because art has many forms and we always have space for arts and every type of music has listeners too. There is always a space for creativity, and good content will always get through. I can give an example for this: there was a time we rarely had mobiles, now everyone uses it. Likewise, there was a time when celebrities were only restricted to PTV, now everyone is a star with the phone. It is a space that has been created for those people who wish to become something. I have a message for Chahat Fateh Ali to stay happy. I can’t give him any advice related to melody because he won’t be able to understand it.”

Asad Abbas was a talented artist who had sung in Coke Studio and he was doing great professionally when tragedy hit his life. He has won the Pakistani Sangeet Icon and also won a Lux Style Award. He was suffering from kidney disease and his kidneys failed. His deteriorating health resulted in a decline in his career.

Asad Abbas had gone through multiple medical procedures including a transplant but that did not work. He wanted to go abroad for further treatment and he had appealed to everyone to help with his medical expenses. His interviews came out where he was not even recognizable any more.

Amanat Ali has an incredibly soulful voice that has won him fans not only in Pakistan but also across the border. He was the second runner-up in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa singing contest in India, and since then, he has sung songs for many movies and has featured on a number of soundtracks for various TV shows.
