In a recent press conference for his upcoming film, He said those who demand wars should be sent to the border to end the warmongering.

“Those who order wars should be sent to the forefront and be told that you fight first. Their hands and feet will tremble. The war will be over in a day. Then they will sit across the table and talk.”

Salman further added, “Whenever there is war, people die on both sides of the border.”

“All discussions can be solved across the table. It’s a negative emotion.”

Soon after Salman’s press conference came to an end, Hindu extremist Shiv Sena criticised the actor and said that Salman Khan “crossed his boundaries. The way he has said this is really objectionable. Who doesn’t want peace? Why does he always cross his boundaries.”

Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha, on the other hand, told CNN-News 18 that Salman Khan’s statement rooting for peace between India and Pakistan was a “sane, sensitive and mature one.”

Fawad Khan is undoubtedly the most successful Pakistani actor across the borders. After winning hearts with his striking performance in Kapoor & Sons, the star was set to give the Indian actors a run for their money. However, seems like Bollywood has no plans to uplift the ban on Pakistani celebrities working in India.

Last year, a news surfaced that Fawad will be starring in Dharma Productions’ next venture opposite Katrina Kaif. The film titled Raat Baaki will be directed by Aditya Dhar under the banner of Karan Johar Films.

It was earlier reported that Fawad Khan will be replaced by Saif Ali Khan in the upcoming venture, however recent reports suggest that Karan Johar has plans of signing Salman Khan, replacing the Pakistani heartthrob opposite Katrina Kaif.

A source told DNA, “While KJo’s next directorial will be with Ranbir Kapoor, he wants to produce a film with Salman and Katrina in the lead as he finds their chemistry sizzling. Earlier, the same film was to star Pakistani actor Fawad Khan along with Katrina, but with the ban on Pakistani actors during Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, that is not happening.”

He further added, “Hence, the film-maker was keen to rope in Salman. The script is being reworked for Dabangg Khan, to make the character more suitable to him. The pre-production work on the film has begun.”

Salman was had been shooting for Bharat  and ther was a sequence to be shot at the Wagah border, which, however, could not be possible due to security reasons. Hence, film-maker Ali Abbas Zafar chose a village in Indian Punjab where they recreated the set. Everything was well until the crew put up the Pakistan flag on the land. The villagers got extremely upset and reportedly filed a complaint against Salman.

An insider said, “Even though this is for a film shoot, local organisations are upset and have filed a police complaint against Salman. They also surrounded the sets of Bharat and the hotel that Salman was staying at. After all it is a film shoot but the locals refuse to understand.” Sensing an unfavorable situation Salman and the rest of the Bharat team quickly wrapped up the shooting and left for Mumbai.

Salman Khan has been considered notorious in the Indan film industry for working with Pakistani artists even after the initial ban from the Indian association. He has worked with Atif Aslam after that and Atif has sung for his films. Atif Aslam’s track was going to be featured yet again in the Indian remake of The Notebook which Salman Khan is producing.

As the Indian Media and government is on a spree to blame Pakistan for the Pulwama Attack, the ban on the Pakistani artists has been re-enforced. This has caused Salman Khan to remove Atif’s track from the film and replace it with someone else’s voice. The jingoism is being endorsed by many Indian artists too in addition to the media which has led to art being affected alongside businesses between the two countries.

Atif Aslam has previously sung Dil Diyan Gallan despite the ban on Pakistani artists but the jingoism this time led Salman Khan to replace Atif’s voice. Atif’s latest track Baarishein was also removed from T-Series Youtube channel before this!

After the recent moves by Indian extremist part Shiv Sena top actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan think it is vital that they speak up against the extreme behaviour of the party. Shiv Sena recently declared that they will do every possible thing to ensure that Pakistanis do not get to work in India. They also threatened Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan who are both going to be seen in Bollywood films soon.

Shah Rukh Khan who usually tries to stay away from controversy thought that this was a time when he needed to take a stand for all Pakistanis working in India and for his co-star Mahira Khan in particular who is playing the role in his upcoming film Raees. While talking to the press Shah Rukh Khan said,

“It is so silly. What do creative people have to do with this? The politics of two countries can be handled by the politicians. How does this inter-culture exchange of artists between two countries [which was one country some years ago] change anything.”

He also said that Mahira Khan was part of his film which means she had the right to work in India. When asked if he was afraid people will criticize him for defending Pakistani artists he said,

“By what standard can I be unpatriotic? I’m an Indian movie star. I was born in India, I’m… Indian. To all saying go to Pakistan, and leave India I just say shut up.”

Salman Khan also supported Pakistani content and Pakistani talent by saying,

“Now that everything is digital, Indians love to watch each and every entertainment show, including popular Pakistani shows . So, art and entertainment have no boundaries. Entertainment is evaluated by what common people want to watch.”

He also said,

“If someone wants a Pakistani actor who can portray a role better, nobody can put a constraint. Bollywood has a huge number of fans in Pakistan and earns a good share of income from the neighboring country.”

Before going to Bani Gala, Salman Ahmad tweeted his, Sheikh Rasheed and Imran Khan old picture which was taken at the PTI chief’s house saying, “Getting ready for Jazba Junoon!”

After Salman was arrested at Imran Khan’s estate Bani Gala, later he claimed he escaped to manage. The singer said that he escaped on his own but now it is being reported that he was released on the orders of IG Sindh.

According to sources, Ahmad said, “We haven’t broken any laws; if they are treating us that way then how will they treat other civilians? The police didn’t close the [police car] door properly, and I escaped. I can’t disclose where I am at the moment but I will bring a case against these people.”

According to sources Hamza Ali Abbasi is also at risk of being arrested if he will make his way to Bani Gala to participate in the protest.  It is also reported that the names of PTI supporters in the entertainment industry have been listed by the police and will be arrested if they are part of the protest.

Junoon fame pop singer Salman Ahmed who is away from singing for many years is now working in an Indian film named Rythem. Apart from acting Salman will also sing few songs including a duet with Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan.

Rythem will be shot in India and Poland. Salman Ahmad started his singing career from music band Vital Signs in 1980’s and later rose to fame after becoming part of another band named Junoon. Salman Ahmed also acted in few dramas, Aahat from PTV Karachi center in early 1990’s was his most famous drama. After leaving Junoon, Salman Ahmed moved to New York, USA. Apart from singing, Salman is active for different social and political causes. He is an active supporter of Imran Khan’s party Tehreek-i-Insaaf.

Salman Ahmed and Junaid Jamshed have a long history. They were friends and partners and mates in the youth of their lives, when friendships are strong and sturdy and fully capable of lasting the whole lifetimes. After some constraints in their relationship, they had  accepted their differences and were the best of friends again.

Life, however had other plans and Junaid Jamshed very unexpectedly left for his eternal abode last year. That has made Salman Ahmed very nostalgic and he has made a documentary with the help of Imraan Khan who is a US based cinematographer and director about all the times they had spent together. It is his tribute to one of his oldest friends and is called Ansoo-the life and times of aVital Sign. 

Salman has announced on his social media that the documentary will be releasing on December 1st.

Pakistan is a country of music having a rich history in this field and is still producing the best singers who are making the country proud by working all over the world. There was a time few years back when the patriotism was easy to see among the singers who used to come up with music, especially dedicating their piece of work to the nation. However, things seemed a but different in the recent years and nothing like ‘Hai Jazba Junoon..’ was seen. You might have heard about the Naya Pakistan- Inshallah song that has emerged on screen few days  back, which can be considered as an attempt to rejoin the broken pieces of two bands, namely, Vital Signs and Junoon.

Naya Pakistan is a song been done by Salman Ahmed and Junaid Jamshed who are the lead vocalists of  the song. Salman recently talked to BBC news about their new work and revealed that writing the lyrics of the song was as spontaneous as anything as he was sleeping when he heard the phrase ‘Insha’Allah.. Insha’Aallah’, he immediately got up and wrote the lyrics.  He was quick enough to respond over it  and shared it with Shahzad and Junaid.

What makes it interesting is the  fact that Junaid Jamshed left music long time back for his religion and was not up for this new idea but it was Salman who made it clear that the idea wouldn’t go against the teachings of  Islam and no instrument would be used for music.

The Song is quite energetic and by now it is leading the charts.

Salman Ahmed is a famous Pakistani American musician. He used to be a prominent figure of the iconic Junoon Band and has given us so many hit songs like Sayonee and Jazba Junoon that still occupies some special place in our hearts.

He is in New York and he said that the condition of America is getting worst day by day and it has become the center of corona virus. Talking about his health he said that he has now cured from corona virus and by the time he realized that he has got some symptoms of corona virus he quarantined himself, hospitals were not admitting patients at that time, his wife who is a doctor and also a front-line fighter treated him. He also talked about his diet, Salman Ahmed also talked about the time that he has spent alone and what was his thoughts and also he talked about uncertainty of life. He ended his discussing by saying a line from the ever green Junoon song: “Hai Jazba Junoon Tou Himmat Na Haar, Justuju Jo Karay Wo Chuway Asmaan”
