After months of entertainment, Bigg Boss 7 finally came to a grand end on Saturday (28-12-2013). Reality TV star Gauhar Khan is the winner of Colors’ reality show Bigg Boss 7. She was one of the strongest contenders in the show right from the beginning.
Gauhar, who won Rs.50 lakh in cash and a trophy, stayed in the house for 104 days.
“I thank family for support. I am big fan of the show. I did not expect to come so far…till the finale,” said Gauhar, who had won critical acclaim for her role in the film ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’ (2009).
Before the winner was announced, Gauhar’s mother Razia Zafar Khan said on the stage, “Apni bacchchi par naaz hai mujhe. Woh badi samajhdaari aur sachchai se aage badi hai”.
Tanishaa’s mother Tanuja who was also present on the occassion, she said, “Main roz dekhti thi show. Jab woh roti thi to main bhi roti thi.”
Before the winner was announced Tauja had said, ” I am very proud of my daughter. According to me the way she has conducted herself, she has won in my eyes.”
Interestingly host Salman Khan said Gauhar and Tanishaa both always stood opposite each other throughout the show. They almost become captains of two rival groups within the house.
Salman joked and said I dont have to tell you who were the vice captain of the two rival groups in the house.
Gauhar, 32, is not new to the world of reality shows having participated in shows like ‘Khan Sisters’ and ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. Tanishaa was the second runner up.
Gauhar proved to be the toughest contestant to beat during any task, Ajaz has been an entertainer to the audience throughout his stay. Tanishaa has been a loyal friend, and Sangram’s positive nature was loved by the audience.

PDM resignations will be accepted with in 5 minutes: Faisal Javed Khan
Faisal Javed Khan says that the resignations of opposition will be accepted as soon as they will be received.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Senator Faisal Javed Khan has said that the opposition should submit the resignations and they will be accepted with in five minutes.
Senator Faisal Javed Khan said that PDM members are challenged to submit their resignations to the Speaker within 24 hours.
He said that if the opposition will submits the resignations, all the resignations will be accepted in 5 minutes. Faisal Javed Khan said that these resignations are not jokes. He further said the opposition is fooling the government and just bragging about resignations.
Leaders of the opposition Ittehad, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) continue to address a rally in Lahore under the shadow of Minar Pakistan. After Gujranwala, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Multan, PDM has decorated the ground in Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore.
Thousands of people are participating in the rally held under the shadow of Minar -i -Pakistan.

PTV has given us many unforgettable plays that even after many years, or in case of some dramas, decades they are still cherished and appreciated. Those dramas are used as an example not because of their glamour (which they lacked unlike dramas now a days) but as a complete set of entertainment, quality and values.
One genre of which PTV has produced many memorable serials (a particular favorite of mine) is patriotism. Sunehray Din, Alpha Bravo Charlie, Dhuwan, Wilco, Aahan, Zanjeer, Angar Wadi and Laag are among the dramas that will be remembered for long. Though few of the above mentioned dramas are Kashmir related, I’ve included them in the list, firstly because they were equally emotionally charged and thrilling dramas. Secondly, we are fed with the belief since infancy that Kashmir is our part (a controversial debate though) and hence their plights are ours as well, and these were some great dramas that deserve to be remembered.
The first three mentioned dramas had not only strongly constructed plots with witty and powerful dialogues they were exceptionally emotive and moving. Those dramas had tragic components as well but those tragedies did not had the depressing effect, which dramas of present day have. The struggles and difficult lives of our soldiers evolve patriotic feelings, create awareness about their dilemmas and problems. There is desperate need for such dramas not only for our moral boosting but also for the sake of our somewhat ethically and morally deteriorating generation whose sole purpose appears to be utilization of night packages (the image portrayed by Tvcs).
Waar is a film of the same genre but since I haven’t watched the movie I cannot comment on it or either compare it with the aforementioned dramas. Patriotic dramas and movies are biased, it is an understandable fact. When our nation happily watches propaganda movies of Bollywood (which are most of the times extremely anti-Pakistani) without raising any objections then why there are objections on such Pakistani projects. We have lots of senseless dramas these days, having patriotic dramas on air will be a treat in addition to the fact that in the current circumstances of our country we need positive dramas.

Patari’s latest series Tabeer is bringing raw talent to light and is collaborating with producers for these extremely captivating songs. Patari released their 4th song of the series and it’s a yet another game changer. The song called ‘Jugni’ is sung by Nazar Gill, who was a house cleaner. He knocked on the door of his employer one day, and asked him to hear a song he had written, called Jugni. That was the moment that gave birth to Patari Tabeer. The song is produced by Farhan Zaheer, while the music is composed by Farhan Zaheer and Nazar himself.
Patari, Pakistan’s music streaming platform released the sixth and final episode of their massively popular “Tabeer” series which features raw and unused talent.
After amazing hits, the project’s sixth song, titled Tora Baram Khana, is a traditional Pashto folk song performed by the talented singer from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Malala Gul. The song is really impressive and so is Malala’s life. The amazing song has been produced by Raza Shah of Stopmotion Digital and the music is composed by Danish Khawaja and Malala herself.
With the success of Patari’s previous episodes, it’s no surprise that the fifth episode is as amazing as ever other one. The project’s fifth song, titled ‘Sajan Moi Khay Yaad Payo’, was written and performed by four musicians from Sindh. The four musicians on the track are Bhagat Bhuru Laal, Faqir Zulfiqar, Rajab Faqir and Zamar Hussain, and produced by the internationally renowned band, The Sketches. The song is reminiscent of Sindh’s beautiful music.

Pakistan’s largest music streaming service Patari promised to show case raw and unused talent in their latest series ‘Tabeer’. Pakistani music is hands down one of the best music in the world and Pakistanis keep coming out with global hits over and over. After a huge fiasco that was raised over copying Abrar ul Haq’s Nach Punjaban which was copied by Karan Johar’s production house in a film starring Kiara Advani, now we will have another of our hits “remade” by Bollywood and it is none other than Ali Sethi’s Pasoori. Pasoori became a mega hit after Coke Studio launched it last year and people were listening to it all around the world. It was a major hit in India as well.

Shae Gill is a brilliant Pakistani singer who recently got fame through her hit song Pasoori. Lately, Pasoori fame singer Shae Gill has been facing a lot of public bashing and trolling because of the prayers she extended for the popular Indian Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala after his tragic and heart wrenching death. It was lately that we heard the news about the murder of Ghazala Javed who was a popular Pashto singer. She was married to a man named Jahangir in 2010 but soon after the failure of marriage, Ghazala got divorced after which she was murdered brutally. Been shot in car, her case remained in the court by now and it is only a few hours back that her ex-husband has been verdict for this murdered and has been sentenced to death-twice. Moreover, an imprisoning of 10 years is also punished to him and two of his helpers.

Zarsanga, a Pashto singer was recently attacked by unknown men in Nowshera. The attack left her and her two sons severely injured.
According to reports, the attackers attacked the singer and seven members of her family in Nowshera.
These men also robbed the family of their valuables. So far the law enforcement agencies haven’t been able to spot who these men were and have also not been able to arrest any suspects. They however, claim to be doing their level best to sort the matter.
The singer and her family were treated at a medial facility in Nowshera.The Lok Virsa Executive Director, Dr. Fouzia Saeed strongly condemned the attack. In a statement, she appealed the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to arrest the attackers immediately and provide protection to the legendary singer.

1) The cast is finally confirmed and unfortunately, the favorite of many Osman Khalid Butt is out and Ahad Raza Mir is in. Earlier, reports suggested that Osman Khalid Butt will be a part of the film but the recent reports are contradictory. Ahad Raza Mir, the son of renowned actor and prouder Asif Raza Mir will be replacing OKB in the upcoming flick and will mark his debut in Pakistani Cinema. 2) Parwaz Hai Junoon is a tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan and will highlight true events. The film is produced in collaboration with the Air Force and also features real-life airforce pilots and personalities alongside the lead cast. Earlier last year, Momina Duraid had announced that a significant portion of earnings from the film would be donated to P.A.F funds.
3) Shamoon Abbasi has reportedly joined the cast of Parwaz Hai Junoon and guess what he’s playing a positive role this time, and we don’t always get to see him as a protagonist (sounds exciting).
4) The film has been directed by Haseeb Hassan and this will be his film directional debut. It is written by Farhat Ishtiaq, who needs no introduction and has penned extremely poignant dramas like Humsafar, Dayar-e-Dil and Udaari. Farhat has a huge history of successful novels and dramas and we can already see a blockbuster film is coming our way.

Parwarish is a new drama on ARY Digital. It is a refreshing story and it resonates with so many young people and their parents all over the country. The show has brought forward different parenting styles and there are debates about how parenting should be done in today’s day and age. The drama’s writer Kiran Siddiqui sat down on Fuchsia and spoke about how the story came about.
Kiran Siddiqui revealed that Parwarish is basically a concept given by Fahad Mustafa himself. Parwarish is a drama that has won hearts for its thought provoking script. The show deals with problems of parenting and challenges Gen Z is facing in their lives as they are growing up. The drama is gaining massive love and great reviews altogether. The charcaters of both adults and children have been written and played well and fans are loving how the show has progressed.
The recent episode, however, had a scene which has raised alarm amongst Parwarish fans. Wali is finally successful and he is performing at smaller venues.
