Mushq

Mushq is the most awaited drama for many reasons. It will be Imran Ashraf’s comeback on television as a writer. Imran Ashraf is really excited about this project because he hasn’t just written the script but will also be playing the lead in it. Imran Ashraf has proved himself as an outstanding performer time and again. Apart from this, big names like Kubra Khan and Goher Rasheed will also be seen playing leading roles in the drama.

The news is that Urwa Hocane too will be making an appearance on television after a long time in Mushq. Mushq is being produced by MD Productions and Ahson Talish will be directing it. Ahson Talish and MD Productions have given the viewers many hit dramas in the recent past. Alif Allah aur Insan, Suno Chanda and Yeh Dil Mera are their recent projects together.

Imran Ashraf’s first drama as a writer Tabeer was also directed by Ahson Talish. Mushq promises to be a love story more than anything else. Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hocane will be the main leads in the drama.

Khuda aur Mohabbat 3

Khuda aur Mohabbat 3 is going to be a sequel of the drama with the same name, 2 different versions of which the viewers have already watched on screen. Both these versions of Khuda aur Mohabbat aired on Geo television. These dramas were based on the novel written by Hashim Nadeem.

Recently there was an announcement that Geo was once again coming up with the third season of the drama. Since the first two seasons were such a massive success, we are pretty sure the makers of this serial once again will give the viewers something exciting to watch.

Iqra Aziz and Feroze Khan will be playing the leading roles in Khuda aur Mohabbat 3. Iqra Aziz recently won the viewers over by giving outstanding performances in two different dramas. Her performances in Suno Chanda and Ranjha Ranjha Kardi were loved by the viewers.

Feroze Khan’s mind-blowing performance in Khaani was appreciated by the viewers and critics. Both these actors have proved that they can give powerful performances in layered roles. This is the first time that they will seen sharing screen space.

The shooting for season 3 has started. Director Syed Wajahat Hussain who recently directed drama serials Do Bol and Yaariyan will be directing this one. 7th Sky Entertainment is going to be heading this project unlike the last time when Babar Javed produced the series.

Prem Gali

Prem Gali is another drama which should be on everyone’s must-watch list for multiple reasons. Drama serial Prem Gali is going to be Aangan’s sequel. Aangan on ARY Digital provided the viewers with the perfect family entertainment. Prem Gali will have some of the old characters and few new ones but the central theme will more or less be the same. This script is really close to Faiza iftikhar’s heart, it has been directed by the same director who was behind Aangan i.e Qasim Ali Mureed.

This drama has been produced by Six Sigma Plus. Farhan Saeed and Sohai Ali Abro are the latest addition in this sequel. They will be playing the leading roles in the drama. Apart from this, Anoushey Abbasi will also be seen in the drama.

The cast members are really excited about this project. The shooting of the project started few months back and it should be on air soon. The number one reason why most people are looking forward to this one is that it is the sequel of a drama that won them over completely.

Bandhay Ek Dor Se

Bandhay Ek Dor Se is another new Pakistani drama which most drama fans are waiting for. The drama has a great star cast such as Ahsan Khan, Ushna Shah and Hina Altaf. Veteran actors like Samina Ahmed, Saba Hamid, Saba Faisal and Qawwi Khan are also part of this drama. Bandhay Ek Dor Se’s script has been written by ace writer Faiza Iftikhar. Ali Faizan Anchan has directed this drama.

In an interview Ahsan Khan shared that although this is going to be a family drama, it will not be typical in any way. The drama will cover the story of a Punjabi family, the members of which fight and argue but at the end of the day, they love each other. Bandhay Ek Dor Se will be airing on Geo.

Noman Ijaz and Savera Nadeem’s Upcoming Drama

Noman Ijaz and Savera Nadeem are everyone’s favorite for obvious reasons. Every time they have been seen in a drama together, they have left the viewers in awe of their brilliant acting skills. The good news for all the fans out there is that they are doing another drama together. Noman Ijaz shared a BTS picture from this project. Bilal Abbas Khan is also going to be a part of this project. This drama is going to be directed by Anjum Shehzad, the man behind the blockbuster Khaani.

The few pictures from the sets which were shared by Bilal Abbas Khan and Noman Ijaz definitely are intriguing. The background and their get-ups suggest that these might be scenes from inside a prison. The captions with these pictures show the excitement of the actors involved in the project.

Fitrat

Although Fitrat’s OST and teasers are out and it will be airing really soon, Geo has not given details about the writer and the director. Like many other dramas which air on the channel, this one is also a 7th Sky Production. It has an interesting cast with popular actors such as Ali Abbas, Saboor Aly, and Mirza Zain Baig in leading roles. The most interesting thing about Fitrat teasers is the role Saboor Aly is playing in the drama. She seems to be playing the role of a confident and outspoken young girl who does not particularly like men. Although this might be another love triangle or revenge story, we like the treatment given to the drama and we can’t wait to watch this one.

Mohabbatain Chahatain

Mohabbatain Chahatain is another drama that will be airing on HUM really soon. Armeena Rana Khan is making a comeback to dramas with this one and what is even more interesting is the fact that her character appears to be negative in the drama. Hira Mani and Junaid Khan’s favorite on-screen couple will also be seen in Mohabbatain Chahatain. Although the promos suggest that this is going to be another story about a married couple that faces problems because of another woman, we are excited to see what the actors have to offer. Armeena Rana Khan has assured her viewers that they will enjoy watching her in this drama therefore that is another reason we are looking forward to the drama.

Qaraar

Qaraar is another drama serial which marks the comeback of Mikaal Zulfiqar and Sanam Jung together on screen after their hit drama serial Mohabbat Subha Ka Sitara Hei. Apart from that actors such as Muneeb Butt, Rabab Hashim, Ali Safina, Seemi Pasha, Waseem Abbas, and Ramsha Salahuddin will be playing leading roles in the drama. This drama has been written by Aliya Bukhari who also penned down the script for Sanam Jung’s drama serial Dil-e-Muztar. The promos of the drama suggest that there will be many different storylines. Looks like this is going to be another drama about complicated relationships. We are waiting to see what Qaraar has to offer.

Kasa-e-Dil

Kasa-e-Dil is an upcoming drama serial starring Hina Altaf and Affan Waheed. The promos suggest that Hina Altaf will once again be playing the role of the other woman. Komal Aziz Khan will also be playing a leading role in the drama. Just like all the other dramas produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, this one too has great picture quality. Pakistani dramas have a massive fan following within and outside the country. Talented actors who put their heart and soul into these projects make all the difference. Now more than ever new faces are often introduced in dramas. The process of selecting new actors for a certain project is very different from what it is worldwide. Unlike many other countries, these selections are not done via agencies but most of these actors are either a part of the industry in some other capacity, are selected because they are already popular on social media or they have been acting on some other level and are spotted there. The directors and producers who give these actors a chance also deserve credit for spotting their talent. Most of these actors manage to do so well because they are passionate about acting. Some of them also come from completely different backgrounds but end up finding a career in the performing arts.

Talha Chahour

There is a good reason why Talha Chahour is on the top of this list. His role as Captain Farrukh in the drama serial Jo Bichar Gaye has already won him many fans. Although Talha had already been part of a play that aired on PTV, he had not been noticed the way he has been after being part of Jo Bichar Gaye. Talha had been part of Government College Lahore’s dramatic society, he has also been associated with Ajoka theatre and that is how his acting skills were polished over the years. He was chosen to play this leading role in Jo Bichar Gaye when he was asked to audition for it through a close friend who was part of the industry. Initially, Talha auditioned for another role and even started shooting for it but fortunately both for him and his fans he was eventually chosen to play the leading role. Talha worked really hard and with full dedication to make sure that he would do justice to this character, His hard work paid off since people are loving him as Captain Farrukh.

Maheen Siddiqui

Out of all the young females who recently made their debut in Pakistani dramas, Maheen Siddiqui truly stands out. She is a graphic designer who started his showbiz career purely by chance by starring in Adnan Sami Khan’s Mein Tera video. Maheen loved everything about the experience and was later offered Minal’s role in the drama serial Dobara. Right from the beginning, she got appreciation from the viewers because of the way she translated this character on screen. Maheen’s soft-spoken dialogue delivery and the kind of role she has played in the drama contributed to her success. She is definitely one of those new actors you want to see more of. She is also another one of those newcomers who have a naturally likable real-life personality as well. We are very excited to see more of Maheen in Dobara and hopefully in other dramas as well.

Junaid Jamshaid

Junaid Jamshaid is another new actor who left an impact on the viewers from his first appearance in the drama serial Sinf-e-Aahan. Junaid struggled for years before he got a break in modeling. The Sinf-e-Aahan opportunity was offered to him by the production house and he was ecstatic to know that he will be sharing the screen with so many big actors. His performance in the drama as well as his role has been liked by the viewers. Recently, when he gave an interview, people also liked his off-screen personality. We are waiting to see more of him in Sinf-e-Aahan and hope that his performance will be just as impressive in the upcoming episodes as well.

Rehma Zaman

Rehma Zaman is one of those new actors who immediately grab your attention for all the right reasons. She is playing Sana’s role in the drama serial Berukhi. Rehma was already modeling when she got the offer to star in Berukhi. We hope to see more of her in the future as well.

Zaviyar Nauman

Zaviyar Nauman is someone with who everyone was fully acquainted before he entered the industry because Nauman Ijaz and his wife never held back while sharing his picture. The public always complimented his good looks before he entered the industry. While his performance in the drama serial Qissa Meherbano Ka is not impressive, he has performed really well in Sang-e-Mah and has given us hope that he has the potential to be an even better actor. Zaviyar has Nauman Ijaz as his mentor therefore we are pretty sure that he will not disappoint us in the future too.

Dananeer Mobeen

Dananeer Mobeen’s debut performance in Sinf-e-Aahan took everyone by surprise. The girl whose pawry video went viral, amazed everyone by her brilliant comic timing and confident acting skills. When the news that she was making a drama debut came out, a lot of people were not happy because they thought that she was simply getting the role because she had already gained substantial popularity. However, she won the viewers over completely when she breathed life into the character. Making the viewers laugh is sometimes more difficult than anything else, Dananeer managed to achieve that with the utmost ease. She definitely is a talented young actress who will definitely continue to impress the viewers.

Komail Anam

Komail Anam belongs to a family which has been closely associated with showbiz for decades now. He is Khalid Anam’s son which definitely must have made it easier for him to get his first break on television. However, obviously getting a break is not enough; giving a decent performance is ultimately what helps in the long run. He has been part of multiple dramas such as Chamak Damak, Badnaseeb, and Sinf-e-Aahan. His acting skills are impressive and with time we are pretty sure that he will only get better with time. Komail also sings as a hobby which does not come as a surprise because Khalid Anam also sings so well. We have high hopes for this young man and wish him all the best.

Adeel Afzal

Adeel Afzal’s performance in Parizaad was not his first time on television because he had already appeared in a supporting role in the drama serial Aakhri Station. But it would be safe to say that this was the performance which won him recognition as well as a lot of admiration from the public. Adeel Afzal has a creative and artistic side to his personality. He had already worked on the radio and was active on YouTube and social media before starting his career in acting. He is still exploring what he wants to do in life. After starring in Parizaad and now Sang-e-Mah, the viewers are waiting to see more of him in the future.

Zohra Rahman

Zohra Rahman made her television acting debut from the drama serial Dil-e-Momin, she is playing a supporting role in the drama. Many people might not know that she has already acted in many international projects. She is also the one who played the first hijabi character in a Marvel series. She has also been part of other international projects and has worked in a Netflix series as well. She is extremely likable as Ainee in Dil-e-Momin. Sarah Nadeem

Sarah Nadeem is one of those actresses who truly outshone in a supporting role in Taana Baana, Aik Hai Nigar and is now impressing the viewers with her unique style in the drama serial Dobara. Mehru’s loving friend from Dobara, the actress Sarah Nadeem, is actually a practicing doctor in real life.
