DG Salman Sufi of Chief Minister’s Strategic Reforms Unit is starting the first Violence Against Women Centre (VAWC) of South Asia in Multan on the 25th of March 2017. He is doing this with official ambassadors like Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and Rubina Shaheen on board.

Sharmeen said at the press conference:

“I have never come across a rehabilitation centre like this one, where women could take refuge and pursue their case against the perpetrators without external pressure. Usually, women go through so much for even registering an FIR that the majority is forced to give up their fight against abuse at the very beginning”.

Meekal Hassan band is also on board with SRU and will perform at the inauguration. The performance will be dedicated to all the women who have faced violence in any form.

The band is collaborating with the Strategic Reforms Unit to create a platform for women, where they have a space to showcase their musical talent, and raise their voice against all acts of violence.

The VAWC will be a platform providing justice to victims of violence. The services which will be offered consist of first aid, FIR registration , medical examinations, post -trauma rehabilitation as well as forensics.

Medialogic introduced electronic overnight TV ratings data in Pakistan in 2007 with a panel covering three cities which has gradually been expanded to nine cities and 675 households. We were never friends says Maya and Sheheryar, in the Munshi show. Sheheryar Munawar said our director told us to first be friends because we as an actors both had up and down sort of a relationship where once Maya on a shoot scolded me on doing some joke with her and then I kept my self a bit distant thinking that, Maya is a dangerous girl after that she on another shoot asked me are you upset with me and then I said no, I am just being in my character, from where we started to be friends and then Asim was the one who casted Maya Ali in paray hat love and urged both to be friends and they say after that we developed the chemistry you guys are seeing it on the screen, also Maya is a very friendly girl. She said that in this feild there are every kind of people there are too bold people and also there are too shy people and it depends upon you how you work, you get bold or you work with respect and for me I had to face a lot of difficulties in start.

She said it had been a whole lot struggle for me and Aiman we we just didn’t get hit in a blink she said we started from commercials during our school days because our father’s friend offered us commercials and thats how we started afterwards we started to get dramas roles and then our struggle paid off. She said I haven’t forgotten from where I belong to, that’s why I am carrying my fame well.

She said our parents supported us to join showbiz because my mother used to go with us on shoots and used to be with us there but I think if parents don’t allow no one should come in showbiz because mindsets and opinions of families are different and one should not deviate from parents for personal good. But otherwise this feild is absolutely good to be taken as profession just make sure to get permission from parents then you will be satisfied and happy.

She said I believe we should not post much about our lives on social media because that is how we attract evil eye and I strongly believe in it. We should live moments rather than posting it on social media, but it becomes necessary for fans to post as they wait for you. She said fame hasn’t spoiled me. Talking about it, Aon Ali Khan said, “Let me tell you that after joining the Mazaqraat Raat B team, I am now working on projects other than Mazaqraat as well. You are also seeing me acting in dramas these days. Previously, I was not allowed to do anything other than the show; they used to put pressure on me. This was the case with Mohsin Abbas Haider too, but he didn’t accept it. He used to do patchwork for around 12 episodes and then go for his dramas. He has done many dramas while doing Mazaqraat. I didn’t do anything other than Mazaqraat. I was told that whenever the team, including Vasay Chaudhary, was busy, I had to manage on my own, and there was no guarantee of work for me. Thakur Saab and Vasay Chaudhary used to go for movies, and during that time I had nothing to do. But now Imran Ashraf manages things for me, and the comedians support me. I did Paradise and the film Kabir. He supported me genuinely and even referred work to me. Season 2 gave me face value.” Here is the link to the video:

Fahad Mustafa and Iman said he’d have created an energy drink about Shaan she said he’d have been an analyst. Meera would have taught english and Ali Zafar would have been a painter. Overall Iman was charismatically hilarious at the show it’s a shame that she doesn’t give enough interviews. To be honest the amount of charisma she exudes none of us would be able to handle it if we saw her that often.
