Ohkay so, this episode did not have any flow whatsoever. The editing was choppy & none of the scenes seemed correlated, which made it hard to keep my interest alive while watching this episode. I feel they should now stop with the hints, clues & guesses & just reveal the story because that day isn’t far away when the viewers will start chanting ‘ye tabah hua, ye fanah hua, drag ho ho ke ye drama sua hua’. They have kept the viewers in the dark & have left quite a lot to their imagination for a long long time, therefore it’s high time they should reveal everything & end this drama tameez se because now it is getting burdensome tuning to it.
Choppy Editing & Boring Episode:
Gauhar wanted to know more about Sameer but he could not tell her what she wanted to know. Sameer still underestimates Gauhar thinking that she will not be able to deal with the truth about his 2nd personality. To be honest, as much as I was excited to see Gauhar dealing with Sameera, the way things happened in this episode just did not make much sense. At the beginning of the episode Gauhar was looking for answers & she was confused about the lies Sameer was fabricating, then she met Kashif Donia, she had a conversation with Sabeeha, she met Akbar & the very next moment, she was applying lipstick on Sameer’s lips? Am I missing something here or in the middle of replaying flashbacks, they forgot to shoot those important, defining & explanatory scenes where they could have shown Sameer becoming comfortable enough around Gauhar to allow her in his personal space? That scene made it look like they have been married for months now where Gauhar slowly & steadily broke the ice & made Sameer comfortable? I know they have shown Gauahar as Ms. Fix-it, a wonder woman who sorts everything with an invisible magic wand but this one was too sudden & abrupt! They have been skipping a lot of important scenes & are expecting viewers to miraculously & magically understand everything that they have not been shown! Convenience much?
All the other scenes such as Sabeeha’s conversation with Gauhar, Kashif & Donia’s visit at her place & even her conversation with Akbar didn’t hold my interest. I am glad that a lot happened in this episode but the way things were laid out did not work for me at all. This episode in simple words was boring despite showing a lot.
I am not sure how I feel about the fact that they are now trying to humanize Shakira. Also, I am glad that the very last scene made things clear & put things into perspective but before speaking about that, I want to mention that while watching this episode, I was wondering what difference would it make if the woman Akbar is taking care of is Sameer’s biological mother & not Shakira? They have invested a lot of time in showing Shakira, so that old lady better be her because otherwise I don’t think viewers will have any reason to warm upto that woman purely based on the fact that she happens to be Sameer’s biological mother who was non-existent in the entire drama. On the other hand, they have made Shakira’s character an integral part of the drama, so I am sure like I suspected after watching the 20th episode, the woman that Akbar is taking care of is Shakira!
The very last scene suggested that Shakira was abused by her boss probably Ehsan, she had a baby, that boss took that baby from her & sent her away. So, now are they trying to suggest that Ehsan had Sameer with Shakira out of wedlock & Shakira actually happens to be Sameer’s mother? I am fine with this development, like I wouldn’t mind if she is Sameer’s mother but going by what they have shown right from the beginning, where Shakira kept on messing up with Sameer’s personality & his impressionable mind, I feel even if she was his mother, why would a mother do that to her son? If Shakira came back & got the opportunity to take care of Sameer under Sabeeha’s supervision, why would she waste her time teaching him all those things that he’d have a hard time unlearning for the rest of his life? IF Shakira actually is Sameer’s mother, that development is totally fine but if being a mother she deliberately messed up with his brains, then I am not sure what to feel about it & also the fact that they are trying to humanize her character!!!
Closing Thoughts – Ruining The Otherwise Perfect Drama:
I feel now in order to drag this drama & by adding more details, they are now ruining what otherwise was a perfect drama with intriguing storyline & different yet dynamic characters. They have decided to change the ending, that is fine but I feel the writer was may be pushed to change the storyline & he was forced to tamper the vision that he had for this story & the direction he wanted Sameer & Shakira’s track to take, this is why it is coming across quite unconvincing & uninteresting. I am not too pleased with the fact that even though the drama is in its final stage, we are still left guessing & wondering at the end of every episode? When are they going to give us solid answers respecting the time we have invested in this drama already? It is unfortunate but even Zahid Ahmed’s convincing acting could not save this episode at all. Anyways. I am not sure how others feel but I cringe every time I hear Bushra or Gauhar’s mother calling her GOGO? Pleaseee! Also, it seemed while shooting these last episodes, Sonya Hussyn barely had 5 minutes to get ready because her makeup looks messy & poorly done. Not the look she should sport considering she is a newly wedded bride. Anyways, please share your thoughts about this episode of Ishq Zahe Naseeb.

Momina Duraid’s Decision of Banning Firdous Jamal
As a result of Firdous Jamal’s comments on Mahira Khan which were not well received by all of her supporters and fans, Momina Duraid, the owner of MD Productions issued a statement stating that she has decided to put a ban on Firdous Jamal and that MD Productions will not work with him again. This decision was not well received and a lot of people then came in support of Firdous Jamal. His son Hamza Firdous also started a trend on twitter #isupportfirdousjamal which a lot of people became a part of.
This was also one of the biggest controversies of 2019 where the wife of Mohsin Haider Abbas, Fatima Sohail came forward and posted the pictures of physical abuse that her husband of 4 years was putting her through. Fatima Sohail spoke about the physical and verbal abuse she endured while being married to Mohsin. Fatima also stated that Mohsin was cheating on her with the new actress Nazish Jahangir. Dua Malik and Gohar Rasheed came forward in support of Fatima and stated that they were eyewitnesses of the abuse Fatima was put through. During a press conference Mohsin Abbas Haider took an oath on Holy Quran that he had never touched Fatima but the court has found him guilty of threatening and abuse.
Hamza Ali Abbasi’s Pre-Marriage Status Update
Hamza Ali Abbasi got married to Naimal Khawar Khan in August 2019. The news of their wedding came as a surprise and their wedding ended up being one of the most appreciated weddings of the year. However, before that happened, Hamza Ali Abbasi took it to his social media handles and decided to give a detailed explanation of his idea of love, marriage and approaching his spouse-to-be. This sparked a debate where people accused Hamza of sugarcoating everything. Some people called him a hypocrite where others came in his support. Urwa and Mawra also spoke about how healthy eating has helped them a lot. Urwa stated that healthy eating also cures depression, this was something that she spoke about through personal experience. Nida Yasir got involved in an online war with the group owner as well as group members of Soul Sister Pakistan. Nida Yasir’s mother in law passed away and while she was on a break, mourning the loss of her mother in law, ARY Digital decided to air a recording of one of the shows that was aired last year. In that episode, Nida Yasir showed the shopping that she did from her trip to Europe. The group members of SSP misjudged and thought Nida was being inconsiderate that she was showing off her things when her mother in law had just passed away. They group members believed that because when Yasir Nawaz’s mother actually passed away, he along with Nida and kids was on a vacation. The group members of SSP started contacting Yasir Nawaz and bashed Nida for displaying her shopping but Nida clarified it. She also took the names of those ladies who messaged Yasir Nawaz. The founder of SSP Kanwal Ahmed did not do the damage control and clearly stated that she could not stop those members whose names were mentioned.
Sadaf Kanwal’s Remarks on Mansha Pasha
Sadaf Kanwal & Mansha Pasha had a tiff in the past and it continued this year too. In Bol Nights with Ahsan Khan, Sadaf Kanwal stated that she feels Mansha Pasha should stay at home because she can not act. A few days later, Mansha Pasha’s movie Lal Kabootar came in the news for being Pakistan’s selection for the Oscars’ International Feature Film Category. A lot of celebrities came in support of Mansha and she herself settled the tiff with a graceful reply to Sadaf Kanwal.
Shehryar Munawwar, Hala Soomro & Maya Ali
Shehryar Munawwar and Maya Ali worked in feature film Paray Hut Love together. During the promotions, people could not stop noticing the affection Maya had towards Shehryar. In the meantime, the news of Shehryar Munawwar calling his engagement off also surfaced and people started speculating that may be his closeness to his co-star Maya Ali was the reason behind this decision. Khalil ur Rehman Qamar & Feminism
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was in hot waters for his hurtful and insensitive comments about gender equality and rape. In an online portal interview, Khalil ur Rehman spoke about his idea of good women. He stated that he was the biggest feminist and was in favor of women’s rights, only when women did not cross their limits. This interview caused an uproar and turned into one of the biggest controversies of Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s career. The video that went viral showed a shoe flying towards Azhar but missing him by inches and hitting his guitarist instead. However, nothing was actually clear in the video and one couldn’t really make out what had been thrown at the artists.
Following the incident which took social media by a storm and the troll brigade went to work, Asim Azhar recently uploaded a video clarifying the incident and explaining what had exactly happened.
The video shows a mock performance where something is hurled at Asim as he performs and a fake reporter rushes in as soon as it lands. While Asim realizes its a cap that looked like a shoe, the fake reporter creates sensational news about Asim being hit by a shoe during a concert.
The singer cum actor then clarifies that what landed on him during his performance was a cap that looked like a shoe and nothing else. He further showed his fans the evidence as well and told how the team collected the items that were left after the performances either on the stage or at the venue. Asim called out his fans to look into the matters before jumping to conclusions.
“Hurl the shoe at the person spreading the fake news. However, it wasn’t a shoe that landed on me this time. And even if it had been, fans make us so they have a right to complain as well,” Asim positively clarified the controversy.

In a rather sad turn of events, a former Pakistani Miss World, Zainab Naveed, was killed in a car crash in the United States.
Zainab Naveed was 32 years old.
According to the police in the Rockland County village of Pomona, New York, Zainab died on the spot when her vehicle crashed as she took a wrong turn.
Lahore born, Zainab Naveed, was a resident of Pomona and went on to represent the city of Lahore during the 2012 Miss Pakistan World Championships in Toronto, Canada. Zainab went to win the title.
Zainab had also participated in the Miss Earth 2012 competition in the Philippines.
Zainab is survived by her husband Ali-Haider Shah, her parents Tabinda Naveed and Chaudry Qudrat, brothers Ali and Umer Naveed. According to a gofundme page set up for Zainab, people are being invited to support her family by contributing to ease the financial burden the loss has put over the family.
Sunita Marshall and Hassan Ahmed have been married for 10 years now and going very strong as a couple. In a recent interview with Samina Peerzada, Sunita Marshall opened up about the ups and downs of marital life and how she and Hassan stayed put and together over the years.
Talking about her marital life, Sunita came to a point where she talked about Hassan Ahmed’s kidnapping.
“We celebrated our son’s first birthday on 19th of march and Hassan was kidnapped on the 21st of march, two days after,” shared Sunita talking about her ordeal.
Although Sunita felt reluctant to share, when Samina Peerzada insisted on knowing Sunita’s side of the story as a wife, of how she struggled 35 days while Hassan was missing, Sunita went ahead and shared the gory details.
“It was a very tough time for me but it was tougher for Hassan. The day it happened, I called up all of Hassan’s friends and everyone came rushing to me within 5 minutes.His friends supported me throughout, a few of them didn’t even go to their offices for a week,” shared Sunita.
Narrating the story further, Sunita said, “The kidnappers would call and our days went through going to CPLC and waiting. I used to receive calls for the kidnapping dealing. It was a tough time but then it flew by. We had negotiations and I was asked to bring in the money.”
“Our mutual friend Danish Khawaja took the ransom amount, CPLC supported us throughout. There were two kidnappers and when they realized we had the CPLC along, there was an exchange of fire. We got the bag back with the ransom amount back, captured the man and found out he was ex ASI. There was an investigation and 9 people from his family were rounded up, including his wife. The family was then threatened to bring Hassan back but we were very much afraid because nobody was even answering our call,” added Sunita talking about the night when the family had taken the ransom amount to the kidnappers.
“The night was very tough for me as the time wouldn’t pass but Hassan came home at 8am finally after 35 days,” added Sunita about the unbelievable tale.
“Hassan was mentally disturbed having being kept in captivity in 35 days. He had been traumatized because he had been threatened. It took a month for Hassan to stabilize. He stopped going out. but his friends were very supportive throughout,” added Sunita, with tears in her eyes, recalling the ordeal the family had had to go through.

It’s been four days since Dua Mangi was kidnapped from an affluent neighborhood of Pakistan’s biggest city Karachi, but there is still no trace of her.
Her friend Haris Soomro, with whom she was walking down the street when she was abducted by four or five armed men, was shot and injured by one of the assailants when he tried to resist.
This case has taken the masses by storm and people are standing united for Dua Mangi and praying for her safe return.

It all began with her sister, Laila Mangi, posting Dua’s picture on Facebook with the news that she had been abducted. Laila asked her followers to keep an eye out and inform the family if they saw her anywhere. One of her cousins made a similar request on Twitter.
