How often does it happen that a man behind a TV channel is as famous as stars who appear on his TV channel? Not very often, but that is not the case with ARY Networks founder and the president. He has thousands of Instagram followers, he keeps people updated with what he is up to next. He is often seen in the news signing deals and comes across as a very thorough professional but his social media accounts show a more human side of him.

He is a great son for he often spends time with his parents. Now that is one tough thing for someone who owns an entire media network. He’s  a doting father. He once said in an interview that whenever he gets time he makes sure his kids are around and he even makes them skip school for that very day. Humayun Saeed is coming back to the small screen. As was revealed earlier the drama titled Meray Paas Ho Tum will have Humayun Saeed in the lead role. The whole Punjab Nahin Jaongi team is behind the project as the script is written by none other than Khalil ur Rehman Qamar and the director for the project is Nadeem Baig.

Naturally, curiosity was at an all-time high about who will be the leading lady for the highly anticipated project and now we have the name and it is the phenomenal Ayeza Khan. Ayeza is currently being seen in Koi Chand Rakh opposite Imran Abbas. This is going to be an interesting pair to watch Ayeza and Humayun together who will be playing a married couple.

Ayeza is very excited for the role and is also nervous at the same time as this is a kind of a role she has never done before and finds it challenging.

Recently, Sarwat Gillani appeared on the much loved Samina Peerzada show, the 35-year-old actor talked  about family, relationship and her marriage to Fahad Mirza. Although, She was married to someone else before she married Fahad, she has time and again stated that Fahad was always her first love.

She further revealed that two of them were seeing each other when they were in College. Fahad was studying medicine and Sarwat was a graphics design student. The actor said that they used to call each other on landline since Internet wasn’t in vogue. That’s really romantic but here is a twist that may break your heart so brace yourself.

Sarwat said that Fahad always did well in the exams but he failed once and so did she when they were in a relationship. It was then their parents made them realise that the two were too young to commit to each other. She shared that they mutually ended their relationship. Although, they had decided to get back after completing education but the life had something else to offer.

Now here is another twist, Sarwat said that Fahad showed up at one of her plays after seven years. She revealed that she had been in touch with his mother but not with Fahad. They started dating again and soon got married. The couple has two beautiful sons and we couldn’t be happier for their straight out of a movie love story.

Earlier we reported that Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have welcomed their baby boy on the Tuesday morning. Social media took no time to celebrate the addition in the power couple’s life. Shoaib Malik had tweeted about the baby’s arrival saying, “Excited to announce. It’s a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah”

There was one other person from the family who was more excited than anyone else and that is none other than Sania’s baby sister Anam Mirza. Anam was spotted in a GIF with brother-in-law Shoaib Malik where she could not contain excitement.

Anam was the first from the family after Shoaib to announce the birth on Instagram. She shared a cute picture saying, “It’s a boyyyy!!!! Alhamduilllllaaahhhh!!! . Well, that’s a sure shot proof that she is too excited to be a Khala.

According to the Indian Media, the couple has also named their baby. Baby Mirza Malik will be called Izhaan Mirza Malik. The couple has also decided that couple will neither have an Indian or a Pakistani nationality. Well, whatever the nationality is we won’t stop loving the baby.

The feud between boxer Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom is nothing people do not know about. The couple had a fall out last year when they threw cheating accusations at each other and they were headed for divorce. It was only two days ago when Sania Mirza tweeted that walking just 2 Kilometers has become tiring for her. Who knew it was a hint that she is about to give a beautiful healthy baby Mirza Malik. Rumors were rife that the couple had given birth to a baby boy but they had rubbished the rumors. As rumors are mostly true, this rumor predicted their baby’s gender and ended up becoming a reality.

Shoaib Malik shared the news on Tuesday early in the morning via his twitter handle that his wife Sania has given birth to a baby boy. Shoaib Malik’s way of announcing the baby’s arrival was the sweetest. He thanked his followers for the prayers and informed that it was a boy and his girl is doing well. Well, that’s romantic.

Later on, Malik’s manager and agent Ameem Haq tweeted that the baby and mother are all smiles and Shoaib is over the moon. Sania’s close friend Farah Khan congratulated the couple on Instagram saying, “My dearest n best friend becomes a mum!! @mirzasaniar I couldn’t be happier. Arriving soon to meet a lil prince.” Sania and Shoaib had tied the knot in April, 2010 and this is their first baby.

Sarah Razi got married less than a month back. She has been acting ever since she was 4 years old. She also praised Sara for being an obedient daughter. She said that Sara cannot cook yet but her mother-in-law and Sara’s mother’s sister is a perfect cook. Nida also shared that Sara’s mother was also the perfect home maker but she also took time out to always accompany her daughter to shoots which was not easy.

Content makes great actors but box office numbers make great stars. Many people from television are venturing into movies. Some have had it successful. Some have returned to TV silently. Some, on the other hand have had a tremendous success. Hamayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa are two of them. Jawani Phir Nahin Aani 2 is a sequel to the orignial which was released in 2016.

Who doesn’t know Fakhr e Alam? He’s is an ace Pakistani national award winning film actor, TV host, VJ and singer. He introduced the rap/bhangra genre of music in Pakistan. Recently, he was in news for setting on a global journey as a part of his Mission Parwaaz. He became the first ever Pakistani to embark on  this one of its kind solo journey.

He was doing well by far until Faysal Quraishi posted on his social media handles that he had received a message from Fakhr e Alam seeking help. According to the post, Fakhr e Alam was detained at the Russian airport after he fled from Japan to Alaska. The former censor board chief was kept in a room with no water or food and was denied access to his phone for hours.

Pakistan’s ambassador to Russia made sure that they would extend all their assistance to the actor. As per Asim Jofa’s tweet lately on the matter, Fakhr e Alam was granted visa, finally. We wish Fakhr e Alam a safe journey and all the best wishes for his Mission Parwaaz which aims at promoting Pakistan’s positive image. Fans have been worried all this time and made requests to the pages of the government offices to help the actor as soon as possible.

What’s the point of being famous when one can’t use it for the awareness of important causes? Seems like Mahira Khan doesn’t believe in keeping her stardom to herself. Apart from making glamorous appearances at the award functions, Mahira does not  step back from showing support to good causes. She is always among the stars who speak up when something is wrong. Mahira had tweeted a few days ago that she would be attending a fund raiser for Shaukat Khanam Memorial Hospital in the United States.

Well, the good news is that Mahira is in the US now a days for the event she tweeted about. She shared photos  on Instagram where she was seen holding a bat signed by the Prime Minister Imran Khan. The bat will be auctioned to raise funds for the breast cancer awareness program by Shaukat Khanam Memorial Hospital.

Mahira is the brand ambassador for SKMH. She attended a fundraiser in Dubai along with Maya Ali earlier this year. Mahira does not make mere appearances at the fund raisers, she believes in the causes she endorses. She was bashed a troll who made a joke on her breast cancer awareness post. We appreciate Mahira’s guts. She, truly, is a role model.

Perhaps, he thinks he may not be  fair, tall and handsome (which happens to be our beauty standard, unfortunately). Ali Abbas recently stated in an interview to a reputed tabloid that he thinks of himself more like Ayushman Khurrana and Nawazudin Siddiqui. He said that he looks up to Ryan Gosling in Hollywood. What made his statements more endearing was his stance on the on-going Me Too movement. Many leading actors have stayed tight lipped about it while Ali happens to be one of the few who believe that women should be heard. It takes lots of courage to speak up about any such thing. He said talking about such incidents & shaming the predators will make them avoid doing any such thing in the future. We second him, totally.

He further commented that regressive dramas get ratings and that is what defines what people want to watch. He said that it is the audience that decides what they want to watch. He continued saying when a woman is hit, people tune into TV. Dramas based on sexual abuse and rape also garner ratings.

He criticized that the there is a certain class which criticizes content on television but they do not watch anything. In fact, they don’t even know any TV actor besides Fawad Khan. Ali’s drama, Mera Khuda Jane, opposite Hira Mani is currenlty aired on Geo Entertainment.

Asim Azhar is a young star who has garnered immense love and fame in a relatively short time. Asim is loved by millions of fans. He also became a heartthrob when he performed Nawazishien in the Coke Studio alongside another sensation Momina Mustehsan. Both young singers are friends since and have performed together several times.

October comes with Halloween fever. People all over the world dress up as different characters, some as scary monsters while others as their favourite stars or favourite movie characters to run off the ghosts that come down according to the lore. The Halloween festival has gained momentum in Pakistan too for quite some years now. Markets are decorated with special events at different places while many people have Halloween parties.

Actress Ramsha Khan also attended a Halloween bash and she was dressed up as a flowery skeleton. Her makeup was on point and intense while she also dressed up in a skeleton outfit. Supreme Court on Saturday revoked a ban on the airing of Indian content on local television channels, setting aside an earlier ruling by the Lahore High Court. Chief Justice Saqib Nisar announced the ruling in a case filed by the United Producers Association pertaining to the broadcast of foreign content on local television channels in the Supreme Court Karachi registry.

Chief Justice said that India is trying to obstruct Pakistan’s dam construction. Therefore, we are banning their content. Previously, PEMRA banned it in 2016 but the ban was removed by LHC. India, on the other hand, has banned Pakistani content & artists completely as a reaction to Uri Attacks.

We may agree that ban on airing Indian serials is justified as we see no gain of it whatsoever. There already is enough of Pakistani content on television which is appreciated by the local audience. It is a fact that our cinema can depend on their films as they have a huge following and can benefit our distributors & cinema owners.

This moved was made after United Producers’ Association filed a petition. Ban on Indian movies was also said to be proposed but no new updates have come in regards to that.

Every man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a Baba. That’s what a caption of one of the picture’s on Imran Aslam’s instagram says. We can’t agree more. Some fathers work hard to give us a good life. Some still take time out of their busy schedules to make these sweet gestures for their children that become memories. After all that is what makes life beautiful.

Adeel Hussein has done selected work on television but every time he appears on screen he makes his presence felt and wins the viewers over. He is known for the leading roles he played in Mera Naseeb and Daam in particular. Apart from his performances, the kind of characters he chose to play also played a major role in winning the hearts of people. All the characters he played were powerful in their own way. His natural acting style along with his pleasant personality make him one of those actors who are being missed by the drama buffs particularly.

Adeel Hussein has been seen on the big screen in the past few years but he has not been seen on the small screen since 2015. Jackson Heights was the last drama he did and after that he moved to the big screen. Now for some time he seems to be planning something which does not involve performing in front of the camera.
