Then I had to start the mother-toddler program with her, which meant the mother had to be with the toddler, and their timings were early morning. Sarmad Khoosat is coming with another blockbuster movie Zindagi Tamahsa. The film is all set to screen next month at the Busan International Film Festival before releasing in Pakistan. The cast includes; Arif Hasan, Samiya Mumtaz, Eman Suleiman, and Ali Kureshi.

Sarmad Khoosat’s upcoming and highly anticipated film, Zindagi Tamasha, finally has a release date. The film, after creating storms internationally, at the Busan International film festival, will finally be releasing in Pakistan on the 24th of January.

Directed by Sarmad Khoosat himself, Zindagi Tamasha is based on a script by Nirmal Bano and has been co-produced by Khoosat and his sister Kanwal.

Revolving around the life of a religious cleric whose secret video goes viral causing an upheaval in his life, Zindagi Tamasha stars Arif Hassan, Samiya Mumtaz, Eman Suleman and Ali Qureshi in pivotal roles. The soundtrack of the film has been composed by Lux Style Award winners, Saakin.

Recently, Zindagi Tamasha’s trailer was removed from YouTube which caused quite a stir of controversies. Sarmad Khoosat himself took to his social media to explain why the trailer was taken down and when it could be seen again.

“Khoosat Films took down the trailer from YouTube themselves. A trailer is just a tiny part of the entire film, there’s no context so a few people had some issues regarding the content of that clip and we took that into account. After minor tweaks, we’ll reupload it soon enough,” stated Sarmad.

Sarmad Khoosat recently dropped the trailer of his upcoming film Zindagi Tamasha and wowed the audience. The trailer offered an insight into the film, bringing across a myriad of emotions. Zindagi Tamasha came across as a film that would depict the dark secrets and double faced nature of this society and how it shuns the ones it condemns.

The film starring Arif Hasan, Samiya Mumtaz and Eman Suleman in pivotal roles is slated to release in Pakistan soon. However, before it can release all over in the country, Zindagi Tamasha, was slated to premiere at the Busan International Film Festival. And now, as news has it, it has also been nominated for an award as well.

Sarmad Khoosat himself shared the news that Zindagi Tamasha, had been nominated for the Kim Jeosuk Award at the BIFF, even before its screening. The director, who will also be having a cameo role in the film, took to his Twitter to make the announcement.

The Kim Jiseok Award is a new award established in 2017 and aims at encouraging and discovering the growth and new talents of Asian Cinema. For the award, the jury will select two films from two sections, one offering a window on Asian cinema and other from the latest and most-talked films of Asian directors. The winning films will be awarded USD 10,000 each.

No Pakistan release date for Zindagi Tamasha has been confirmed as of yet.

Sarmad Sultan Khoosat soon is coming with a bilingual film Zindagi Tamasha, He produced and directed many TV dramas. Humsafar, Manto, Pani Jesa piyar were hit projects of Sarmad Sultan Khoosat. His film Manto which was released in 2015 was the box office hit. He has done a 24 hours live performance against death sentence as awareness campaign last year that what a prisoner and his family goes through and it has to be abandoned. Sarmad has also done a stage play last year Jhanjhar di pawaan jhankar which was praised alot by the theater viewers. After Manto he is coming back with Zindagi Tamasha. Samiya Mumtaz is playing lead in the movie and Sarmad Khoosat himself is doing a cameo in the film. Well for sure there must be some strong acting and emotional drama in the film because these two actors nailed every single character of them.

Besides this the film stars all new actors  which includes Arif Hasan, Eman Suleman and Ali Qureshi . Eman Suleman is a renowned model who is making her film debut with Zindagi Tamasha. She also came into limelight after speaking and bashing too much on Metoo campaign, she later on boycotted Lux Style Awards too.

The film is not in urdu completely its characters are conversing in Urdu and Punjabi. Zindagi Tamasha will be distributed by IMGC in Pakistan.

The story Guriya which is written by Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi will be narrated by Mahira Khan .

The dramatic readings are created by Shailja Kajrewal , directed by Sarmad Khoosat and Kanwal Khoosat and produced by Asil Baqa . The stories will be narrated with a few of actors performing in it as well.

Manto by Sarmad Khoosat had gained recognition and awards globally with the story of this creative genius who was destroyed by the very culture that necessitated him to become who he was. There was this one man who had literature, words, talents and a burning desire to create but not enough market to be able to afford a living off his talent. Manto’s pain, anguish and cynicism had been translated well by a team of veteran performers in this film released in 2015. Now, from the 3rd of November, it is coming on Geo Tv as a drama serial. It will be great to watch this masterpiece that is all set to appear every Friday.
