Sadaf Fawad started off her career as a fahion designer not very long ago. She had her party collection and formal wear displayed before but it was the first time that she exhibited her Bridal collection.
The Bridal exhibition took place in Ensemble, Karachi where Sadaf’s husband Fawad Afzal Khan, a name that needs no introduction at all, was by her wife’s side throughout the ehibition for moral support.
Sadaf Fawad’s collection had a variety of materials from Satin, to Organza, Tulle, Charmeuse and last but not the least Chiffon. A lot of refreshing colors could be seen in her bridal collection like shades of Green, blue, pink, orange, beige, peach etc. Every color expressed its own unique presence in the collection. Sad Update About Kashi From PTV Classic Nijaat
PTV era is considered to be the golden era of Pakistani dramas. We have seen many hit dramas and stars that were made in those times. All the veteran talent of our dramas was discovered through PTV and there were stories and scripts that may not be made or air today. One such hit drama of the era is Nijaaat which brought stars like Nauman Ijaz and Atiqa Odho together on screen. People loved the 18 episode drama and it has millions of fans even today.
One young actor of the drama who won hearts with his good performance and cuteness was Sajjad Hassan who played the innocent Kashi on screen. Like all the other actors of the drama and what PTV standards were at the time, Sajjad aka Kashi stood out in Nijaat.
Fans of the drama wanted to know what actually happened to the young actor as he completely disappeared from the screen. A Facebook page titled Alpha Bravo Charlie Drama got on the mission and found Sajjad’s cousin online. They were also able to get a new picture of the young star.
Turns out Sajjad was studying medicine in Houston, Texas in the USA in 2007. He was in third year when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a type of cancer. Another shocking domestic violence case takes Pakistan social media by storm as Fatima, wife of well-known tv figure Mohsin Abbas Haider, shares her heart-wrenching story.
Fatima took to her Social media pages to viralize her painful story. Titling it “Zulim Bardast kerna bhi Qunah hai”, the victim finally seemed to brush aside all peer pressure and emerge on Facebook with a story that moved the whole country.
“My name is Fatima and I am the wife of Mohsin Abbas Haider. Here is my story.
On 26th Nov 2018, I discovered that my husband Mohsin Abbas Haider had been cheating on me. Upon being confronted, he reverted to physical violence instead of being apologetic or symphatic. The worst part of it all might not be the fact that he beat me up, but the very fact that I was pregnant at that time!
He dragged me by my hair, threw me on on floor and kicked me multiple times. That wasn’t it, Mohsin Abbas Haider punched me on the face & pushed me against the wall.
I was violently violated by my husband, my so-called caretaker!
Traumatized by the incidents, I connected with a close friend instead of my family & was taken to the hospital.

Ishrat Made In China came out on 3rd March 2022 after another pause in cinema releases. The film has Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed, HSY and Sara Loren in pivotal roles while Mohib Mirza has also directed the film.
The film has not done well at the box office since its release and lack of promotions has been termed as one reason for the failure. Ishrat Made In China did not have any specially organized promotional tours and the songs were not released in a promotional way either.

Sad Reality of Divorces In Pakistani Dramas
The divorce rate in Pakistani dramas is not just high but it is also highly unpleasant. Divorces given in rage and sometimes because men are just fed up with the constant bickering are a little too common. There can be many different reasons for these divorces but one thing is for sure that showing men shouting these three ugly words in every other drama because that is what gets the channels the attention they so desperately seek is sickening! Even if the divorce sometimes actually is not shown, it is shown as a dream sequence in promos to keep the viewers guessing.
The viewers will be surprised to see how casually the word talaq is uttered in Pakistani dramas. Here is a compilation of the unfortunate manner in which divorce is given in Pakistani dramas over and over again. It won’t be wrong to say that these clips are only the tip of the iceberg! Sometimes this divorce is given on the night of the wedding which is even more unpleasant.
Doraha
In the drama serial Doraha this divorce happened instantly after the husband was sick and tired of constant fights. As is evident, some of the characters were quite happy with this development and after uttering these three ugly words, the husband was more in shock – this is apparently a common occurrence in our dramas.
Meri Zaat Zara-e-Benishan
This drama was definitely a masterpiece in many ways but the divorce given in it was just as unpleasant and unsettling as the rest of the dramas. After the wife is not able to prove her ‘innocence’ the husband gives her a divorce in front of the entire family.
Khud Parast
In the drama serial, Khud Parast divorce was shown as a punishment. It was sudden and just as unpleasant as all the others irrespective of the background and consequences.
Mann Mayal
The divorce scene in Mann Mayal was just as ridiculous as many of the other scenarios in this drama. Mannu pleaded even after she was divorced and even after living a terrible life with this man she acted as she had just lost the best thing that happened to her.
Nazr-e-Bad
The divorce in Nazr-e-Bad was shown so casually that it was almost unbelievable. Even couples who are dating must take their relationship more seriously than married couples in Pakistani dramas.

Waseem Abbas has apparently divorced his on-screen wives in the most unpleasant manner more than once. He is an expert at shooting such scenes and is seen shouting these words in dramas as if it is no big deal.

Kashf is another drama serial which showed how a person who was otherwise level-headed was so deluded that he ended up giving divorce verbally without thinking twice.

Kahin Deep Jalay was another drama that ended with one of the negative central characters getting a very public divorce!
Nand
In order to save his sister from committing suicide, the brother divorced his wife. This divorce was the most shocking and definitely one that set the wrong precedent because of the way it was dramatized.
Dil Mom Ka Diya
The heroine in Dil Mom ka Diya Ulfat wanted the divorce but even then watching a decent man utter those words in a public place wasn’t something that should have been shown.

This was another divorce that was given to teach the wife a lesson and to prove a point, the wife was left crying and pleading!

Although this particular divorce was shown as a ‘ghalati’ it was unpleasant nevertheless!

This was another ridiculous scenario in which the bride is divorced on her wedding night because the husband feels that she does not want to live with him! Why marry someone if you will eventually divorce them?

This is another Pakistani drama that showed how the husband divorced his wife on the night of their wedding having absolutely no regard for her or their relationship.

Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida took this ridiculous divorce scenario to another level by showing the husband divorcing not one but both the wives but guess what he was only ‘daydreaming’!!!
