It seems that whatever Yasir Hussain says as a joke , he just buys hate and trolls. “Cry when they go, pray for their sacrifice and feel the pain of loss. Do no exhibit, compare and spend extravagant amounts of money to please Allah. He knows your neeyat better than anyone. Be gentle with the animals, be kind. Clean up thoroughly after it’s done. Stop storing meat for yourselves, give and distribute the best of it first. Reflect on the meaning of sacrifice. Be humble about it”.

She ended her message with a prayer and said, “May Allah accept our sacrifices this year. The greatest nations are those that are kind to their animals. Many of them are our food, they fill our hungry bellies. They’re a big blessing. We have to respect them. We have to be thankful to them”.

We were never friends says Maya and Sheheryar, in the Munshi show. Sheheryar Munawar said our director told us to first be friends because we as an actors both had up and down sort of a relationship where once Maya on a shoot scolded me on doing some joke with her and then I kept my self a bit distant thinking that, Maya is a dangerous girl after that she on another shoot asked me are you upset with me and then I said no, I am just being in my character, from where we started to be friends and then Asim was the one who casted Maya Ali in paray hat love and urged both to be friends and they say after that we developed the chemistry you guys are seeing it on the screen, also Maya is a very friendly girl. Wow! That was the instinctive reaction that evoked as I witnessed the songs of the upcoming Pakistani film “Parey Hut Love”. As a Pakistani living abroad I am so proud of how our Film industry has developed and progressed in the past few years.

Yesterday accidentally I came across songs of “Parey Hut Love” and was so proud of the Cinematography, choreography, and execution of dance moves. Now we have moved on from robotic moves with no emotions and expressions attached. Soulless dance moves are what we had suffered for years, where lyrics, dance moves, and facial expressions did not complement each other and the essence of songs was lost. Facial expressions reflect the mood of a song and have a major impact on performance and execution. Songs of PHL seem to have worked on all these major aspects and the result is evident. Zara Noor’s dance moves were outstanding.

I was so proud of the songs, as if I owned them, that I recommended others to watch and they appreciated it too. These songs should be taken as the benchmark by Pakistani movies to follow, match and excel. The choreographer of these songs should train other choreographers in our film industry. Javed sheikh spilt the beans about the time before yeh dil apka hua, in Bol nights with Ahsan Khan he says, “I was penniless in 2000, my career got ended. I was doing theatre plays in Lahore. People used to say Javed Sheikh ‘s career has gone, he needs to go back to Karachi. One day I was doing theatre play and got a call from a man who came from Belgium and was from charsadda he asked me to meet and said I wanna make a good film, how much it cost and I replied him one crore back in 2000, he said no the good one, like Indian and I said 6 crore he said lets make it, Javed sheikh said I was shocked and shaking till I received money and we started working on yeh dil apka hua, the day before it released all the big producers said tomorrow 6 crores are going to be sunk but we were hopeful,  Javed sheikh said it released and became an instant hit, there were no tickets available and same people who were critical and negative, bought tickets in black. The film did business for a year, that’s how Allah has blessed me and after yeh dil aap ka huwa, I never looked back.
Its such an inspiration for our new filmmakers as Javed sheikh set trend at the time when there were no films so its the struggle that remains unseen but the success that is all seen.

Jawad Sharif’s feature documentary “Indus Blues” has made an impact on audiences around the world with its originality and powerful message. The director is going one step further with the release of music videos from the film, which including Mai Dhai’s melodic Marwari folk song “Murli.” The video was appreciated for its stunning visuals capturing the culture of The Thar Desert.

Only days ago, he has launched the official music video for the Balochi folk string instrument “Suroz,” which takes us to a part of Pakistan most of the people in Pakistan are not familiar with:  Baluchistan. The video starts with the stunning shot of the Makran Coastal Highway and moves to the masterful tune of the Suroz of the legendary maestro Ustad Sachu Khan. Even though Sachu Khan himself is based in Sui, Dera Bugti, in the Eastern Baluchistan, Suroz is found in both the Eastern Baluchistan and Makran coast musical traditions.

The music video starts with the iconic shots of the glamorous Makran coastal highway and Princess of Hope, but sooner moves to more salt-of-the-earth visuals of the tribal life. The video also briefly touches on the lives of the hardworking and selfless coal miners in the province. One of the most politically neglected parts of the country, the classical tune titled “Zinda Hein Kitne Log” offers a somber but soulful voice to the voiceless suffering in the province. The classical film song was originally sung by Madam Noor Jehan and composed by Master Inayat Hussain is beautifully interpreted in this rendition.

The veteran actor Firdous Jamal made an appearance on Faysal Qureshi’s morning show,  Salaam Zindagi.

After a very long time Tasmina Sheikh and Zulfiqar Sheikh are producing something for Pakistani viewers and that is a feature film. The teaser of film is just released on instagram and guess who is in the cast? Its a solid cast, Elysee sheikh, daughter of Zulfiqar and Tasmina, is doing main lead along with Asad Zaman Khan and humayun ashraf, Fazila Qazi, Nauman Masood, Ayesha Sana, Uzma Gillani and Javed Sheikh are also part of the cast where the direction and story is by Zulfiqar Sheikh. The locations of the film are breathtakingly beautiful, Elysee Sheikh for sure will prove to be a great addition as she has  innocence and beauty. It seems that Zulfiqar Sheikh was waiting for the right time to work on a project like this where viewers and cinemas both needed content.

Film is total commercial love story, which will be liked by audiances and Humayun Ashraf is looking handsome in the movie well let’s see he is  protagonist or antagonist, movie will be released in December, keep your fingers crossed this year for amazing movies.

Feroze Khan announced his departure for Saudia Arabia where he will perform the rituals of Hajj. He shared this good news on his official Instagram page with a caption that he would like to apologize if he ever intentionally or unintentionally hurt anyone. Humaima malik also took over her Instagram to congratulate her younger brother. 

Feroze Khan then shared his picture in Ahraam while performing the holy pilgrimage of Hajj. There were many who blessed him but there were more who started criticizing him on his post. They thought that he should have at least looked decent to show some respect. Others said that he should stop taking pictures and focus on what he is doing.

She is currently hosting ’Good morning Pakistan’ morning show which is the most-watched show now. She invites different guests daily who share their experiences and give sincere advice to their audience. 

Yasir Hussain is an actor and a producer. His role in ’Dil moom ka diya’ was loved and appreciated by the audience. Nida and Yasir are blessed with three beautiful kids, two handsome boys, and one pretty lady. Their youngest son Balaj turned 5 on the 2nd of August. Nida arranged his birthday party on the set of good morning Pakistan where her celebrity friends with their kids were invited and had a lot of fun. 

She then arranged a birthday party for Balaj at her own residence. The whole decoration was done by blissful fusion events which was loved by everyone. Nida wore a white shirt with blue jeans and looked gorgeous. Balaj was in a swimming costume according to the theme of the birthday. It was a summer pool party theme with bright colors. Balaj friends and family members were invited to make the day memorable.

Special Assistant of Broadcasting to Prime Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said to ban all indian content on tv and the previous ban is going to be continued permanently. She said this way we are being able to stand in solidarity with kashmiri people. She also said we will make sure to see all the programming containing indian culture to be banned and public is nothing but happy, some are saying that the ban should be permanent and the songs and Indian youtubers too need to be banned as they are earning through Pakistan and then they name call Pakistan badly.
Its high time the public is ready to value everything that belongs to us we love our industry, our drama industry is massive which produces hundreds of top class dramas in just the period of 3 months and it has largely grabbed international audiences. It’s time to raise the bar up, its time to rise and shine its time to kick indian content out. Public is happy and giving suggestions on banning every type of content.

Hareem Farooq is coming with her new movie, ‘Heer Maan Ja.’ It seems like she wants unconditional support from audience whether the movie is good or bad because Pakistan’s film industy is still in infancy.

Hareem Farooq is a Pakistani theatre, film and television actress and a film producer, known for her work in the serial Diyar-e-Dil and Pawnay 14 August. She co-produced Janaan followed by her 2018 blockbuster Parchi. 

She spoke about how audience should support Pakistani cinema in her recent interview with Haroon Rashid on BBC Asian Network.

She continued “I’d say that’s true. You need to own everything right now,” she shared. “Bollywood, Hollywood, Tamilwood, they’re centuries old, while Pakistani cinema is probably just six years old. We talk about making something out of our country, and we want to take our cinema abroad.”

Farooq further added, “We want to tell people that what you get to see in the news is not Pakistan or the one you get to hear about from people who don’t even know what Pakistan is, right? You need to tell people that this is Pakistan; it is beautiful, it has colours, it has talent, it has everything.”

So, even if there is a bad film, you need to understand and our audiences need to understand, that we don’t have the technicians, the writers, or even the actors for films. Everyone is learning and the only reason why people are doing films is passion and it’s just purely passion, trust me on this.”

Every Pakistani wants to support their own industry but we urgently need to generate good content and stop making low-grade movies with poor script.

Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf upcoming film ’Superstar’ is going to release in few days on Eid-ul-Adha. The film is about a girl who struggles really hard to achieve a strong position in the film industry while there’s a son of a director who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The word Superstar is termed for all those to work really hard to get their work done. They try to remove all obstacles from their way to become successful. They don’t look back in the past but live in the present and think about their bright future. 

Mahira Khan and Bilal have visited different cities and countries for the promotion of their film and convince their fans to go to the cinema and watch Superstar. They went to Dubai for the film’s promotion and were recently spotted in the UK. They visited the Twitter headquarters where they will be talking about how the young generation should use social media more responsibly.
