Mahi Baloch is a brilliant Pakistani model and actor who has recently garnered fame for her popular ARY Digital reality show Tamasha 3. Mahi was an integral part of Tamasha 3 who spent 50 days in the house. Well, Mahi Baloch is out of Tamasha house and has recently given her first interview to the Digital platform Something Haute.

In her interview with Something Haute, Mahi Baloch talked about her struggles, entry in showbiz, the Tamasha winner she is rooting for and the fake participants in Tamasha 3.

Talking about her struggles, Mahi said, “I have been working since I was sixteen. I have been financially supporting my family, I am the eldest sibling and I really wanted to do something for my family. Also, our parents supported us, now all my siblings are well to do and they stand somewhere in society”.

Talking about getting showbiz offer she said that it was a miracle that she joined Facebook, she was first offered Mehmoodabad ki Malkaain which she couldn’t do because her father didn’t let her do this, but later on he agreed a s she did an ARY Digital’s project after which her acting career started.

Talking about the participant, the public is rooting for, Mahi Baloch said, “I think fans are rooting for Aqeel and he may win because he’s playing good”.

Mahi said, “the contestants who are fake in Tamasha are Dania Enwer and Ayaz Samoo were fake and I saw that when I came back from the Tamasha 3. Besides this, Anam Tanveer was irritating, she used to irritate us a lot and that’s why we all treat her harshly but I didn’t know we were trolling or bullying her. Wajiha was also playing the game but she told me that she’s doing it for her game, so, I was aware of her actions”.

Previously, the Mahira Khan and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees got banned in Pakistan and didn’t meet our censor’s board criteria.

And now, it is another Punjabi Indian film called Dushman which has failed to live up to the mark of our censor board.

According to its Indian filmmakers, the film is about how a Pakistani manages to turn a prejudiced anti-Pakistani Indian, to see the error of his ingrained biases.

But according to the Islamabad censor board (the so-called ‘Central Board of Film Censors’), the film is “a controversial and a propaganda [sic] movie against the State of Pakistan.”

Pakistan and India’s political relationship are not stable post the URI attack. The dispute between the neighbors has also effected art. Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, said his upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Dushman’ is based on the relationship between neighbors India and Pakistan, is their way of working towards improving ties between the two countries.

Mahesh Bhatt has time and again spoken in favor of Pakistan and was often bashed by Indians too. According to him, he is now taking an initiative to work towards improving the ties between the neighboring countries. The veteran filmmaker unveiled the first look of his upcoming Punjabi film ‘Dushman’. The film, written by Shagufta Rafique – who has also made her directorial debut with it – features actors Jashan Singh, Kartar Cheema and Sakshi Gulati.

“Indo-Pak relationship is a topic which ignites pain in the hearts of people for both the countries. Everyone wishes to see India, Pakistan as friendly neighbors, but a deep wound is still fresh which is bleeding till date and we haven’t been able to soothe it. This movie is our attempt to improve sentiments between the two countries,” Bhatt said.

“The film will take the audience through a variety of emotions and a high voltage action,” added Bhatt, who often calls himself a facilitator of the cultural dialogue between India and Pakistan.

According to Shagufta Rafique, who has worked for 11 years as a screenwriter with Bhatt’s home banner Vishesh Films, Dushman is “about love, hate and brotherhood”.

The film is produced by Vinay Bhardwaj under the banner Yellowstone Production Pvt Ltd in association with PVR Pictures. The music has been composed by Jaidev Kumar and the album is an assorted collection of four songs with music maestros of both India and Pakistan on T-Series. The film is slated to release on 3rd March, 2017.

Indian film maker Mahesh Bhatt has been raising his voice since IMPPA (Indian Media Picture Producers Association) decided to ban the Pakistani artists from working in India. Many famous stars like Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar and Fawad Khan have been affected by the ban since, they were to complete some projects in India. According to Mid-Day, Mahesh Bhatt feels that Indian government should deal with the terrorism in a different way than to ban the Pakistani Artists.

“The idea of it could incur the wrath of political parties.The Central government has to come up with a solution, if they wish to rebuild relations razed to the ground prior to the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In my opinion, cultural space must be kept alive,” said Mahesh Bhatt.

Mahesh Bhatt and many other Bollywood stars have opposed the ban but IMPPA certainly has no plans to lift it.

Shakir passed away in a car accident in Islamabad on a rainy winter morning December 26, 1994. She was 42 at the time but her words shall remain with us till the end of time.

Arth 2 is remake of Mahesh Bhatt’s 1982 classic of the same name. Arth 2 turned from an idea to a feature film back when Shaan Shahid met Mahesh Bhatt in 2015 and expressed the desire to remake the film, the story is pretty much the same and is set in current day Lahore, Pakistan.

“Arth is the first film with the DNA of an Indian story to be set in Pakistan. If we want to strengthen film trade between our countries, Arth’s model is a great way of collaborating,” Shaan stated previously.

Mahesh Bhatt has been drooling over the film ever since the beginning and when the new sound track ‘Murshed Ji’ came out yesterday it wasn’t surprising when he went all fanboy over it, took to his twitter and wrote “SENSATIONAL! Mah-e-Meer is an upcoming film featuring Fahad Mustafa, Iman Ali and Sanam Saeed in main roles. Fahad Mustafa is making debut in film industry but surprisingly he never seen talking about this film anywhere. Miraqsm Media presents Mah-e-Meer, a film by Sarmad Sehbai and directed by Anjum Shehzad. The movie is inspired by the work of Mir Taqi Mir, the first classical master of Urdu poetry. Mah-e-Meer meaning the promiscuous moon is a story that follows the struggle of a contemporary poet and draws parallels with events in Mir’s life.
His conflict with the royal court, his romance with a courtesan, his ideals of bringing Urdu poetry to the people in the streets and his eventual madness in full moon; all reflected in his poetry. The official trailer of the film, produced by Badar Ikram and Khurram Shahzad is out. The film is featuring Manzar Sehbai as Dr Kareem, Fahad Mustafa as the lead role Jamal, Iman Ali as Mahtab, Sanam Saeed as Naina Kanwal and Aly Khan as Nawab Sahab.
The movie has five songs knitted in the script, which are written by veteran writer and director Sarmad Sehbai. This will be Sarmad Sehbai’s cinematic premiere.
The total running time of the film is 120 minutes and the film is currently undergoing its post-production phase. According to the producers of the movie, Badar Ikram and Khurram Rana, negotiations with distributors are under way and release details will be finalised soon.
