As already known that the Pak- India tension is increasing day by day. In result of this tension the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has simply “banned” Pakistani stars including singers, actors and technicians from working in India till “normalcy”.
This resolution was passed during the annual general meeting of the association.
The president of the IMPPA, TP Aggarwal said, “We’ve passed this decision in the AGM today on the demand of all the producers. Henceforth, till the situation is okay between the Pakistani and Indian governments, we will not hire any Pakistani artist, technician or singer. We will maintain this till the relations between Pakistan and India are okay. The AGM at IMPPA House in Mumbai was attended by more than 200 film producers”.
The resolutions was passed due to the 48hours deadline given by the nationalist party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to Pakistani celebrities to leave India. Though no prominent Pakistani artist is in India at the moment, upcoming concerts of Shafqat Amanat Ali and Atif Aslam have been cancelled.
On the other hand an exceptions has been made for those projects who already have engaged Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan-starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Mahira Khan-starrer Raees.
Aggarwal said, “If there’s any ongoing project from which [Pakistani artistes] cannot be removed now, on which everything has been done, they can come for that”.

Today, a young couple lost their lives in a tragic road accident involving a dumper. The couple, who were expecting a child, was returning from a routine hospital check-up when their motorcycle was hit by the heavy vehicle. Both husband and wife died on the spot. According to the police, the lady was full term pregnant and gave birth to a daughter during the accident, but the newborn also could not survive. Pakistani nation is mourning this tragic incident and are also raising serious concerns about worsening road safety and rash driving in Pakistan.

Dubai Crown Prince Hamdan Bin Mohammed praises a delivery boy on his heroic act. Well, the boy Abdul Hakeem removed concrete blocks from a very busy road in Dubai, during the heavy traffic hours, he removed the concrete blocks because they were causing trouble for the vehicles.
The delivery boy Abdul Ghafoor, who hails from Pakistan, was going to deliver his order when he saw the concrete blocks, he stopped and waited for the traffic to disperse and when the traffic vanished, he lifted those concrete blocks away from the road. Later on, he posted his video online, the video went viral and was sighted by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohhammed. Mohsin Hamid belongs from the city of Lahore and has received a lot of appreciation for his phenomenal books through numerous awards awarded to him in the past years. ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’, his second novel, is an international best seller.
Kamila Shamsie is no less a pro than Mr.Mohsin. She belongs from Karachi city and her outstanding work came under the limelight through her third novel, ‘Kartography’ which became a hit worldwide.

Bollywood films have largely resorted to showing ultranationalistic propaganda material as those are the films which are working with the audience after the country has been radicalized by the BJP government. Yes, every country resorts to these tactics and Pakistan has done its fair share of music videos, dramas and films in this regard too. But India moved two steps ahead this time and distorted the real story of Operation Swift Retort where they were defeated in front of the whole world and their pilot Abhinadan Varthaman was captured by the Pakistan Airforce in broad daylight.
But looks like India wants to distort history once again and they have made a film starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan on the incident where they are trying to make themselves look like winners.

Pakistani artists working in indian films is not a breaking news, but Pakistani artists offered work in Indian dramas is a breaking news. Recently ( In June 2014) an Indian media house Zee Group, launched a channel named Zindagi which has aired many Pakistani serials uptill now.
Seeing the popularity of Pakistani dramas, now Pakistani drama artists are receiving offers by Indian drama makers. Like films, India also has a huge television industry which produces dozens of dramas. Like films, Indian dramas are mostly produced on commercial lines with more attention on glamour than script or direction, a formula which is perhaps in demand in India. Indian dramas are also quite popular in Pakistan, especially from 2000 – 2010, but the quality production sof Pakistani private satellite channels gradually faded their popularity. But Indian dramas are still viewed in Pakistan, as proved by high TRP of Indian dramas on APlus and Urdu1 channels.
As per Urdu Daily Jehan Pakistan, now Indian drama makers are contacting Pakistani production houses to persuade various artists to appear in Indian dramas.
Sana Nawaz, mostly known for her films has agreed to work in an Indian drama. Sana Nawaz has already worked in few Indian films. Sana has also worked on television in Pakistan in late 1990’s, but she was more successful in Pakistani films. Surprisingly Sana has not worked in any notable Pakistani drama for more than ten years.
